THIS IS AN ORGANIZED NATIONAL EFFORT FOLKS
This is not a coincidence. It is a concerted effort.
Missouri Democrats are pushing a bill to confiscate guns giving gun owners 90 days to turn in their weapons. Minnesota Democrats are pushing the same bill.
Missouri Democrats introduced an anti-gun bill which would turn law-abiding firearm owners into criminals this week. Gun owners will have 90 days to turn in their guns if the legislation is passed. Dana Loesch has more details.
Here is the language:
4. Any person who, prior to the effective date of this law, was legally in possession of an assault weapon or large capacity magazine shall have ninety days from such effective date to do any of the following without being subject to prosecution:
(1) Remove the assault weapon or large capacity magazine from the state of Missouri;

Unrest is exactly what they want. Then they can use that to sic the media and the Feds and SPLC, etc on it in an effort to change public opinion and claim domestic terrorism. The demographics of those pushing this need to be exposed in their entirety....their politics, religion, ideologies, background, etc. There is a concerted effort by elites who pull the strings of the Democrats to disarm average Americans. That is their goal.

I say bring it.
Why should we be in a political system together, when our fundamental values are so different?
These people do not respect our God given rights.
Do you think they are suddenly going to wake up and say, “I was wrong, you do have a fundamental, god given right to keep and bear arms”?

CWII?
That would imply the 1860 war was about taking over the central government.
Arguably, it was a second war for independence that was lost.

This needs to be taken to the floor for a vote immediately and get them on record.

Then this will either be the Third War for Independence or the First War of Constitutional Restoration.
Either way, it looks like the ONLY way we're going to prevent and roll back the increasing tyranny.

That's coming. I know of no one who is willing to comply.
I've heard a lot of chatter about marching on St. Paul with literal pitchforks and torches to burn the place down around their ears.
This idea has some merit IMO.

This is perhaps being done so the Assclown can step forward to “be reasonable” and make himself look “moderate”.
Fire all the Democrats, some of the Republicans (not all) and go back to the Constitution.
To: Dead Corpse
Someone the other day took great offense and implied “racism” when I classified the 2nd War for Independence as a “loss”.
The way I see it, we’ve had two Revolutionary Wars for independence from the central authority, one which the states won, the second which they lost, and if those who want to be free go the state secession route, we’ll have a third one which will be a tie breaker.

I still maintain that slavery was on a death spiral from things like the cotton gin. Economic forces would have ended the the issue with far less bloodshed and loss of Constitutional principles than the war caused.
That isn't racism... That's a boiling down of facts to the hard roots.
Folks shouting "racist" against such things are typically out of other fact based arguments.

Yeah, I detected some emotionalism behind the protest at characterizing 1860 as a “loss”.

“..new york passed horrible law prior to this. and nj and delaware...”
Like it said at the beginning of the article - this is a national, organized effort.
Fed level is redirection - they’re going to try it at the state level, although they’d be just as happy if they could it through there too.
We just got a demofascist Freak for an AG in PA in the last election; first thing she did was nullify our decades-old Florida reciprocity - which does nothing except hinder law-abiding citizens. They don’t give a crap - they want us disarmed any way and every way.
Wherever you live, they’re going to try it. Sandy Hook was their wet-dream-come-true.
F*** ‘em. No compromise.

Art 6 Para 2. "Laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding..."
2A. "Shall not be infringed".
And we should repeat this at 3200 fps, if necessary, until the idea sinks into their ignorant skulls.

Problem is that MN’s government, unlike MO, is controlled by Democrats. There’s a much better chance that this would pass in MN.

As Fred Thompson said in "Red October," "This is going to get out of control! Out of Control! We'd be lucky if we live through it!"
I see this as akin to a national/federal version where these people are like the schoolyard bullies I've experienced in the 1970's as a kid. I got picked on a lot, so did my best friend. We were typical nerds, both special ed, myself, I was tested as a kid with indicators of high functioning autism, I'd say I have Asperger's, my results back then would seem to point that way. So being slow socially and into things like ham radio, space travel, electronics and so on, I was an easy target. Well, getting back to bullies, they kept bullying me and the rest of us unfortunate prey.
It keeps going on until one of us or a few of us are not willing to take it anymore. Myself, I admit I had a little push from Mom, but it got to the point to where I just couldn't take it and I socked the bully back and after both of us were punished and paddled, we became friends. In this case though, I'm afraid we can never be friends with those who want to kill America but I digress.
I'm just saying is they need to quit doing this, otherwise somebody, somewhere will have a "Falling Down" moment where the snap and strike back and then mayhem will ensue.
However, these people will not see reason, they will never stop. One, it is their agenda to push this and they will keep pushing for the sake of that. Two, there are other fellow travellers that use the agenda as a tool, or believe in it, but they think they are a ghod and know better, their arrogance will not let them stop.
The bad thing is we are running out of options to combat this. The ballot box is out the window, 2008 saw to that and we had a chance last year but because of our loss, that confirms it. 2016? Dunno, if we live that long. Soap box, well we can try but the media is generally against us, they fawn over their false ghod in the White Hut. There may be some cracks but not enough. Jury box, although the Supreme Court is not a jury, they are part of the judicial system. They sided with us on firearms but when against us on Bammycare, they misfire a lot. The other side, the true jury box, well, that is still an option of any of us would get picked to judge someone charged with these "new crimes" if these thing passes. We can cause a hung jury if not outright jury nullification, that's the best option if last. Then we have the cartridge box, well???? Geez I hope not but if we go Defcon 1, what can I say? (shrugging shoulders). We are being cornered like an animal, that's the most dangerous moment, all to gain, nothing left to lose. Even kittens and day old baby chicks know to fight.

(The Second Amendment - By Any Means Necessary.)
To: fwdude
It is not actually a problem if it ‘passes’ - it leads us to a solution.
The ‘law’ is clearly unconstitutional and is therefore a nullity. (There is a supreme court decision supporting this reasoning.)
If the courts do not support the clear meaning of The Constitution, then the pact is broken, and there is no longer any reason to continue the charade.
So, bring it!
There is no reason to be in political union with parties that do not respect our fundamental God given rights. If that political union fails to enforce the laws to protect those rights, then that political union is detrimental to the life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness of the people. Such a political union must be disbanded, and a new union formed that protects and defends our fundamental rights.
