Chuck Hagel’s nomination for now is in suspension. Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) has conceded that he does not have 60 votes for cloture Friday. If he does not, he will likely delay Friday’s vote rather than lose on a cloture vote. (A loss on cloture would spur an onslaught of speculation regarding Hagel’s viability.)
I knew I had a good reason to tell that RNC solicitor, “not no, but HELL no” when she called last week wanting some of my money.
And Venal Susan Collins and any other venal RINO voting for cloture!

I have never see such a gaggle of geldings as the repubs (puke) in the Senate. They would sooner slice their own limp wrists before daring to take a stand against Obama.

How about a compromise where he gets to leave town voluntarily, and not on a rail, and with only feathers and no tar.

YES, that’s absolutely correct, and why I’ve always said the chain has to be pulled multiple times, meaning of course multiple elections, and back to back elections I might add to make certain we get every damned one of them out of office. It will take multiple pulls on that chain because they have different election dates, but get them ALL we must..

That’s not the definition of a “compromise.” That would be a classic case of a “cave.” But what would Dana Bash, AKA “Skeletor” know?
Chain the doors on the Capitol and launch an incendiary tear gas cannister in.
I don’t think the GOP has the votes to stop Hagel. McConnell won’t whip his troops. Their are enough squishy RINOs like Collins happy to go off the reservation to increase “bi-partisan” cred.
It really is night and day compared to how Reid runs things.
