BLACK MOB TAKES OVER NEIGHBORHOOD, AGAIN
World Net Daily ^ | 02/11/13 | Colin Flaherty

EDITOR’S NOTE: The links in the following report may contain offensive language.

Tourists are flocking to New Orleans for Mardi Gras: Just in time for party-goers to witness a black mob that has taken over an entire neighborhood. And few seem to care.

Just ask the beleaguered residents of Amelia Street: an “out-of-control gathering place for unruly teenagers during Mardi Gras (which) will receive increased attention this week from both police and city officials who promise to end the problem,” said the Uptown Messenger.

Which is what police said last year. And the year before. And the year before that. Now it happens year round.

And it is getting worse: The break-ins, assaults, robberies, arson, threats, vandalism, you name it, all happening on a two block stretch on a parade route between Barronne Street and St. Charles Avenue.

“I was there last year and it was absolutely crazy,” said one reader at the Uptown Messenger website. “Fights broke out, and I saw a moped catch fire.” Read more at http://www.wnd.com/2013/02/black-mob-takes-over-neighborhood-again/#OQKlP0FUWXGMHAYh.99

Same thing if we don't..

It was a $#*+hole 200 years ago, it was a $#*+hole before Katrina and it’ll be a $#*+hole 100 years from now. It’s Detroit with Jazz music and some French decorations.

Looks like my M1. A little too pristine for a combat arm.

Still, creative license aside in this instance, a damn fine movie.

Can’t wait for my own moment.

It's new orleans. A few years ago my wife and son and I were waiting to get into the aquarium. A bunch of faggots were having a drag queen marathon. Scumbags.

I could care less what happens to that cesspool maggot infested dump.

New Orleans is Detroit south. It’s been that way for years. Most of the population there is black. Most of the criminals there are black. Most of the victims there are black or to a lesser extent tourist marks. It’s not even news.

Absolutely positively without doubt or argument NO is a dump and have never for the life of me understood why anyone would think it a place to choose to go. It is a royal $#*+hole.

I only go there when I have to on business and get out just as fast as I possibly can.

Filthy, seedy, moldy, greasy, dangerous... Convention there? Why?

I like 'em to show some character as well. But I'll take pristine!

I can wait. This would not be combat but riot suppression. For mobs I'd want something with greater capacity. Ideally I'd prefer a suppressed rifle at long range. But Jeff Cooper thought the Ruger 10/22 could function well in this role--Mild report and disabling wounds, which would discourage any rioter and his friends who witness the sudden change of heart of their companion in crime.

If you ever wished to visit SF and live in the Midwest or East, just visit New Orleans and save some travel time and money to see queers, freaks and perverts in their native habitat.

Sounds like the New Orleans I know and do not love at all.

It has always been like this, it’s a festering sewer.

Ya mean like something Biblical ?

Or something involving offshore realty ?

I remember one New Year’s Eve down on Bourbon Street when I was a student. Found a good bar serving hurricanes that would let my friends and I stand outside, buy drinks, and use the loo. I’ll never forget the scene as thousands paraded, shoulder to shoulder, through the street. It was like watching people enter the gates of hell. And, no, I’m not kidding. It really left an impression on me that was not pleasant.

And the Westbank is getting just as bad. The Westbank USED to be fairly safe, working class families, now it’s almost as dangerous (I hear from friends stuck there) as downtown.

All those “Obama Sons and Daughters” who came back after Katrina had to have SOMEWHERE to live, and the end of the Westbank began.

Been there done all those too Vet. Not impressed with any at this point. Nashville was not bad when I was a child visiting there, but the rest are not on my favored list. Just give me a mountain retreat for the best kind of vacation. I hate cities and only go to Columbus now because I have business there on occasion. Get in and out as fast as possible.

P.J. O’Rourke described New Orleans as a high-crime drainage ditch.

I'm old enough to remember when New Orleans was actually a very nice place to visit and even to reside. The area started it repaid descent around that time that John Fraud Kennedy became president.

Prior to the JFK administration, the Quarter, while rowdy was safe and actually family friendly to a certain extent. Stunning movie palaces and beautiful department stores (Maison Blance) lined Canal Street. The central business district was nearly theme-park clean and absolutely safe for walking. My wife and I used to stay at the Roosevelt Hotel and walked the surrounding blocks with absolutely no fear, down to Rampart Street over to Jackson Square and up to Loyola and Howard Avenues. You didn't even need to carry a gun in those days to feel safe!

Believe it or not, it was a great place for fun, food, shopping and history at one time. Then, in the early 60's, liberalism's clutches took hold and irreparably ruined the New Orleans of the 40s and 50s that I so fondly recall. The black thugs referenced in the lead article of this thread now control the once charming New Orleans and it's why it's been off my destination list for some 50 years now.

If you ever get to Omaha you HAVE to visit the zoo. One of the best in the world.

Show me someone going to New Orleans for vacation, and I’ll show you someone going there for the first time.
