It’s not the first time the Obama Administration disarmed US Marines at an event.
In March 2012, US Marines were told to leave their weapons outside the tent during Leon Panetta’s speech in Afghanistan.

Bolts were normally in place except in very rare cases. An inaugural parade was one of those very few.
Some rifle tosses couldn’t be performed because the missing bolt shifted the weight enough to make the toss dangerous. These were not part of the “normal” Manual of Arms. :=)
I feel that most of "his" troops would never back his war on Americans. That is why he is building his own army. This ass is a communists want to be dictator and millions of Americans just do not get it yet. Hopefully when they wake up it will be not too late to impeach him.
Early in the war in Iraq, my son was back filling for military police that had been deployed. W came to Montgomery and My son was one of the troops tasked with guarding AF 1 while it was on the ground. Most of the troops were not issued ammo. My boy and a few others had live ammo. I assume the most reliable troops had the ammo.
And there's going to be another 50 outraged replies to this thread that don't notice the several informed replies pointing out this was a long-standing policy.
There's a whole cottage industry blaming Obama for policies extending back through the GWB adminstration, Reagan, or even further back. This sort of nonsense destroys the credibility of legitimate criticism of Obama.
After Ft. Hood, perhaps they believe they’ve been infiltrated by muslims who would want to assassinate the POTUS or other high officials. It seems plausible to me.

I think Hussein, knowing he is a fake Commander in Chief of our military, is afraid of the military having guns around him. His twisted mind thinks without a bolt on those guns, no military guy can hurt him.
