Finally, we have the answer, thanks to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta. In his reluctant Senate testimony, he provided the missing piece of the puzzle: The commander in chief was MIA. The coverup was created to protect his absence.
According to Panetta, President Obama checked in with his military team early on during the attack, then checked out for the rest of the night. The next day, we already knew, he blamed the video maker and flew to Las Vegas for a campaign event.
Meanwhile, half a world away, Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans had been slaughtered by Islamists. Their murders on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 gave the incident extra gravity and led the White House to conceal the facts. An honest chronology would have revealed the president’s shocking behavior during the most successful attack against Americans by foreigners since 9/11.
Imagine the questions that would have come: What did Obama do through the long, bloody night? Whom did he talk to? When did he learn that Stevens was dead?
There is still much we don’t know, but Panetta, under persistent Senate probing, revealed that Obama simply wasn’t involved. Did he just go to sleep?
That question, like other good ones, was asked by Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Panetta and the chairman of the joint chiefs, Martin Dempsey, told Graham they didn’t sleep, but said they didn’t know if Obama did.
You would think a presidential conscience would keep him awake and engaged until he knew what had happened in Benghazi. You would be wrong.

This guy is buried under a mountain of shoes that would suffocate anyone else.

I think it’s a total lie. He was there! He just does not want to be involved because another shoe is about to drop.
Remember someone in the state department saying they watched this all happen live on a video feed?
You can’t tell me that on September 11th, shortly before an election.. the POTUS wasn’t watching this.
Something big is being covered up.
I’m not saying it will or will not drop.. but I do think something IS there big on Benghazi that we don’t know about.
Whether or not it’ll come out... well that depends on who finds it.
Just saw Sen. Angus King (RINO, Maine) on Fox News giving President Obama cover for his absence during the Benghazi debacle.
For a party that wet itself daily from yelling about the Contras, the Democrats sure seem to be at ease with supporting both sides in every shooting conflict in North Africa and the Middle East. Almost makes you think there must be some money involved.

If DumBO had come out and said that he had left it to good people to take care of it. And, if they had not, he would fix it. But, he didn’t fix it, he doubled down on incompetence. The fact that nobody in the White House or State Department had real concerns begs the question: “Where was Jarret?”
This regime’s primary purpose is to deflect blame from the Narcissus-in Chief so that he will not appear as who he really is. ZerO has two jobs, read what is on the teleprompter and sign what is in front of him. Everything else is done by the marionette miester.

Oh, the attacks went on for another 6-1/2 hour. Uhhhhh, well, he was packing for that long, arduous trip to Las Vegas the next morning. Packing is hard work. You gotta make sure the socks match. And stuff.

These hearings are revealing that neither Obama or Clinton were ‘involved’ during the 7-1/2 hours of the attacks, and neither of them apparently called for any ‘involvement’ by any US military support — some stationed just two hours away.
No wonder Clinton blamed the Internet and they trotted out Rice to spew that ridiculous story that the trailer for some obscure movie caused this.
Oh you’re gonna get it for that one.
Beware of things overhead.
They knew if they trotted out the video excuse.. it would get uncovered.. and people like McCain and Lindsay Graham would spend all of their time and resources investigating it.
Meanwhile.. the real scandal is being ignored. They were STILL talking about that stupid video during Hillary’s hearing - that was what prompted her to say “What difference does it make?”

Just wait until the MSM covers the part about the lot of them watching the entire attack live ... were they ordering out for Chinese, pizza or both?
This was right around the time the polls, internal from what I gather, were beginning to show Phaeroh that he was not winning the election. The last thing he needed was to have his fingerprints on another disaster so he left the dirty work up to his subordinates with the edict: do what you can knowing they could not do much without his sign off. Recall at the funeral for Stevens, only person there who looked seriously grieved was Hitlery. Phaeroh looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there. Besides in the battle cry now: what does it matter now. I’d love to know exactly what was going on but with this bunch aided and abetted by a reluctant Congress and a bunch of RINOs, we never will.
As far as another shoe is going to fall, I am beyond waiting for that to happen. A shoe off Yeti is not going to unseat this bum. If the asteroid misses DC next Friday, he will be home free to keep his reign of terror on the US in tact and in fact he will amp it up on tuesday.
What difference does it make? Can’t we just put it behind us once and for all and move on?
