While scores of law enforcement officers continued to search Friday for a fugitive ex-cop suspected of killing three people, San Bernardino County Sheriff John McMahon said he is worried about armed Big Bear residents -- whom he calls "hearty" --- taking the law into their own hands.

Good catch.
If true, they overreached again. Badly this time. People scared, hiding in houses think about buying guns. And think people who would take them are bad people.
And might just vote accordingly.
Sheriff, I despise a man who equates self-defense with the morally obtuse phrase - taking the law into one’s hands. Yes, I despise your thoughts.
Zodiac 2. Now playing in suburbs and cities everywhere.
He is hiding out with DB Cooper.
The people who live in the San Bernardino Mountains are not what you'd call "the left."
people should look at the picture of the young woman this animal shot for no reason other than her dad worked on the lapd with this creep....
she's asian....maybe someday the asians will wake up in this country...
From what I gather he knew his discharge date was last Friday so the weeks and month leading up to it were just giving him time to let the hate grow. Then you get the final rambling, scrambled part of the opus.
I'm sure his cell phone is gone and any electronics he has is gone. So if he "planned" this out his credit card and spending habits could provide clues to stores, caches, safe houses, etc. Cause if he thought this out he either needs to hide in plain site, with family help but not with them and in his old hoods. I'm thinking that the black population in LA is going to just possibly help or "not snitch". After all, all civilians have immunity, the police are the prey. So why risk your neck for a police department that abuses you and possibly die if the big guy decides you're going to snitch. Lose-Lose for the civilians.
I think he's going to lay low with maybe a target of opportunity far away from his hide if it presents itself and I'd be very surprised if he ever sees daylight.
So from what I remember he needs shelter, water, food, and then the "extras". I doubt a MANPAD... just stupid psyop bs. Even a .50 is risky if you think about it. Fire that in a city or ANYWHERE and everybody will know where you are. Nah, I'm thinking he'll use the suppressed weapon he has either a rifle or pistol in close. I doubt that we'll see any LAPD stopping at donut shops, fast food shops, traffic lights or stop signs for the foreseeable future.
Now it just depends on how crazy this dude is. He's basically in solitary and after a couple of days of no human contact he's gonna get a little lonely. After 1-2 weeks of hiding he'll make his first move just to test the waters.
What do you all think? Do you think he's prepped or just went bat sh#t crazy and started the blood bath.
The other thing is if this guy is on meds and steroids.
And if the guy that does is white, then believe that St. Trayvon Part 2 will be the meme of the day.
Evil whitey feared the black man and took the law into his own hands. Same meme, different day.
Not that I am opposed to someone blasting the idiot.
Their own justice????
Being as this is California, they will probably serve him some domestic arugula and a rather imprudent chardonnay
Depends on the person. I'm perfectly good alone (just me and Jesus) in the mountains for up to a year at a time.
Different people are... well.... different. Some will take it, some won't. Even here near a city, I go days without human contact, and I'm great with that.

What’s the problem if some local plugs him? Then the cops can quit being so scared.
Did you slap this “young person”?
I come from a family like yours.....loners....
To me this is an argument to keep the public armed. I would feel much safer owning a gun with this chip on his shoulder ex-cop running around.
I think this guy will commit suicide. He has nowhere to go.
But I am ok with being alone in the mountains for long, long periods of time. It saved me from buying one more house for a woman that would have eventually hated me.
