BIG BEAR LAKE, Calif. – All that was left were footprints leading away from Christopher Dorner's burned-out pickup truck, and an enormous, snow-covered mountain where he could be hiding among the skiers, hundreds of cabins and dense woods.
More than 100 officers, including SWAT teams, were driven in glass-enclosed snow machines and armored personnel carriers to hunt for the former Los Angeles police officer suspected of going on a deadly rampage to get back at those he blamed for ending his police career.

If one fugitive LA LEO cab evade capture of hundreds, and possibly thousands of fed/state/counnty/local, the question becomes how long can US Vets, "survivalists" & "prepper" and other determined 2nd Amendment Patriots, last, set double-back blind traps qnd lethal/non-lethal traps to delay and 'disable' the putsuiing force?

He’s likely stalking his next target even as I type this.
If he’s methodical and careful, I foresee many police funerals in the weeks ahead.

My ears also perked up at this quote: “On Sunday, police say Dorner shot and killed a couple in a parking garage at their condominium in Irvine. The woman was the daughter of a retired police captain who had represented Dorner in the disciplinary proceedings that led to his firing.”
This is dangerous stuff when the perpetrators start purposely going after the families of the LEOs or Gov’t officials.

Did the weather conditions have anything to do with his spree?? How far ahead did he prepare for this? Burning the truck was obviously for a purpose....and likely kept everyone close by, rather than spuring them to push forward.
I'd say he's in Vegas by now....where most of the town are strangers.
