Back four months or so there was a police shooting in NYC, and they hit over TEN innocent bystanders before they shot the person they were aiming at.
They only grazed him.
Reports say he ditched his own license plate and is using a presumably stolen one. And I can imagine the cops are jumpy, because Dorner was pretty clear that he plans to shoot anyone trying to stop him.
Still doesn't excuse the trigger-happy response, though. Not in the slightest.

My co worker here, in OC is lucky; driving a similar vehicle he was pulled over three times, on the way to work, this morning.

Reminds me during the DC Sniper shootings everyone with a white van was being stopped. Supposedly Dorner might have taken off his original license plate and put on a different one. I wouldnt be surprised if he has already switched cars. Everyone is looking for it I doubt he is stupid enough to be driving around in it. I dont know the hell the police could make a mistake by thinking that two women in a car could be this guy.
