Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testified this morning on Capitol Hill that President Barack Obama was absent the night four Americans were murdered in Benghazi on September 11, 2012:
Panetta said that Obama left operational details, including knowledge of what resources were available to help the Americans under siege, "up to us."
In fact, Panetta says that the night of 9/11, he did not communicate with a single person at the White House. The attack resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.
Panetta said that, save their 5 o'clock prescheduled meeting with the president the day of September 11, Obama did not call or communicate in anyway with the defense secretary that day. There were no calls about what was going on in Benghazi. He never called to check-in.

Read that the Ambassador WAS involved in a gun-running scam that went awry. He knew too much. Possibly he could have blown the lid off of this. That’s why he feared for his safetyand requested more security, which was denied. I think they wanted the Ambassador taken out to keep him quiet.
That’s exactly what I think. It seems real clear to me, probably to Graham and others too.

I am 100% not surprised at reading this. No wonder they put off having Hellary testify for 4 months; a majority of the countries attention span is minimal nowadays and this information will never be on the Alphabet channels, I’ll bet.

I think Obama's actions were heavy handed on purpose. His choices were a message to Ambassadors, Seals, and Military officers that their lives are dependent on Obama;s 'whims'... The message:
Seals might be tough, but if Obama won't allow the system to protect it's own - they die. Same for the foreign service people.
It's not subtle.
