Comedian Chris Rock showed up on Capitol Hill today to support President Barack Obamas new gun control laws. Here is what he said: ROCK: I am just here to support the President of the United States. The President is our boss, but he is also... you know, the President and the First Lady are kinda like the Mom and the Dad of the country...

And now this. I kept wanting to see him break into a "I'm just kidding folks!" ending.
What he was clearly saying to people was that we need to listen to Obama and do exactly what he says quickly because he knows best. Do you realize the platform that he was just given and how many people were listening and shaking their heads in agreement. We laughed at Fluke and made fun of her small crowds but look at her huge impact. How much more influence does Rock have over hordes of people... We have got to start taking these things seriously
That level of stupid will happen when you have Father Issues from not knowing which of Mommy’s “Baby Daddys” was yours...
That is a veiled threat. Seems like statement after statement is being made on almost a daily basis attempting to set people off JUST SO the government an react and set an example of "ass biting". All of this is becoming deliberate provocation.

The Presentdent is NOT our boss. He works for us, not us for him.

No, silly. That is the way it used to be.
We must get used to obeying the Dear Leader.
You know, kind of like the Imam of our mosque.
On second thought, this stuff has to be fake. Just imagine if anyone of status were to have said the same thing about George Bush when he was president. What would have happened? I don’t believe he actually said that. Don’t believe it....
I left home at 15 because I couldn’t stand living with a self-absorbed ex drunk and a psychological terror for parents. The thought of having the fag and his hag for mommy and daddy is enough to drive me out of this country. Someone should puke on Chris Rock for saying it.
If those MARXISTS were my parents, I'd look to see if I got ADOPTED!!
Chris, please go back under your rock you crawl out of!!
I see Chris Matthews, Dan Rather, Katie Couric, George Stephanopolis, Chris Wallace, Wendell Goller, Brian Williams, Dianne Sawyer, David Gregory, Wolf Blitzer, Candy Crowley, Judy Woodruff, Matt Lauer, Bob Schieffer, and etc, etc, lamstream media democrat activists!
As a shareholder of this country, the president is my employee.
My Dad was a hard working, WWII vet who died of cancer at the young age of 43. I’ve missed him every day for almost 50 years. Chris Rock isn’t worthy to have wiped my Dad’s butt.
The only thing missing from his comment was the word I added....
“Its like the sheeple want a dictator to tell them what to do and how to live.”
Yep - they are called liberals, and they still have a junior-high mentality.
No I sure didn’t. I did not watch the clip, I just read the story.
“Yep - they are called liberals, and they still have a junior-high mentality.”
Haha . . . it’s funny but there really is something emotionally stunted about a lot of liberals — i.e., “a junior-high mentality” — which suggests they really just don’t want to grow up and be responsible over their own lives. The French existentialists from decades ago are known for saying that most people don’t want the burden of freedom, and like Chris Rock would rather just have the government — i.e., his projected mommy and daddy — tell him what to do. Rock is a slob.
One of the signs behind him said “Mayors against illegal guns” which is very insensitive. No gun is illegal, its just that the owners havent filled out he right paperwork and paid the tax. Maybe they should be called “undocumented guns”?
Chris Rock Wants You to Shut Up and Obey the President
