Beyoncé's daring leather ensemble at the Super Bowl last night has sparked anger from some parents who believe it was too racy for prime time television. Several viewers took to Facebook and other social networking websites to suggest that the performer's costume, by fashion designer Rubin Singer, looked a little too 'S&M'. Beyoncé was 'over the top trampy,' according to one mother commenting on the Today show's Facebook page. 'I was embarrassed to watch it with my 9 year old son,' she wrote.
Conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham tweeted sarcastically: 'Very family-friendly dancing S&M by Beyonce. What every girl shd aspire to. #waronwomen [sic].'
And an angered Huffington Post reader wrote: 'This is a family event - did the woman need to dress like a harlot???'

However overall reception of her costume was positive, with viewers and fans praising it as fierce and sexy, a testament to her girl power attitude. And many were shocked to discover that the brains behind the pop star's jaw-dropping leather getup did not belong to a big-name label, but to the relatively new and unknown New York-based designer, Rubin Singer. 'I have to tell you, this is a moment,' Mr Singer, 34, told The New York Times. 'It's the biggest moment of my career.'
The designer's creation included a black plunging leather bodysuit fashioned with strips of engineered python, paneled iguana, silk, plastic and leather, with insets of black lace. The ensemble also featured a motorcycle jacket with padded shoulders and a leather flounce skirt which Beyoncé ripped off early in the show, revealing a ruffled Chantilly lace skirt.

We didn’t watch it. This is the current culture of most of our society. It’s sad. Too many are fascinated by those who not only have no talent, but who use the basest of instincts to make money. The NFL should be ashamed.

Sorry, but these parents should take some initiative and TURN THE SUPERBOWL OFF when these things start. If you want them to stop putting garbage on T.V., just switch it off when they perform. These people live on ratings. T.V. has definitely become a corrupting influence in America, not that I’m against free speech, but its crap like this that has spearheaded the sexualization of young kids. It should be pointed out.

Beyond Passe’ ...is a no talent hack. I don’t trust her voice since the advent of Auto Tune pitch correcting software. I don’t trust any of it since Auto-Tune became operative in 1997. It can make your 90 year old grandmother sound like a 20 year old opera diva.
Add to Beyond Passe’ any one of the tramps and whores that we have seen since 1997 to the list of zero talent wenches to disgrace themselves. Look at Ms. Spears. There’s not a speck of talent in the woman, and yet every stripper thought she was/could be her.
Her singing sucked, she is an over rated stripper.

I noticed that as well. I didn’t pay too much attention as I’m into the game, not the Halftime Show. It just seemed that every time I glanced up, I saw crotch.
I don’t dislike her. Not my kind of music for sure. Props to her for making money and she does have a good voice. Just not my type of music and if you feel you need to flash yourself to make money, you must not have much confidence in your own musical talents.
