over the past four years working on a whole range of energy issues but also designing a cap to plug a hole in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico when nobody else could figure it out," the president said. "And thats typical of the incredible contributions that he's made to this country.

He’s full of it.
A friend of mine was working for Transocean at the time and called me the next day and asked me what I would do.
I told him to lower a cap over it.
He said he had already sent that idea to his boss and he and others were already working on the details of how to do it.
I emailed drudge and called BS on politico comment section. Not that the truth matters any more with these people.
Breitbart looking into cap BS.

Why does this administration absolutely have to lie about everything? Couldn’t they tell the truth just once? I mean, if it makes them feel better, they could think of it as a wily tactic, to build some credibility for their next lie. But every single thing they say has to be a lie?
“I do skeet shooting all the time.”
“Secretary Chu capped the oil leak.”
“I said the very next morning after Benghazi that it was an act of terror.”
“I have already released my long form birth certificate.”
“Our economic policies have worked and put millions of people back to work.”
“NRA folks heckled a grieving father during his testimony.”
“Tea partiers were hurling racial slurs at us as we walked to the Capitol to sign Obabacare.”
“. . . which will surely lower health costs for everyone.”
and on, and on, and on. It’s as nauseating as a buildup of toxins in the pit of your stomach.
An inventor claims his design was the basis for the cap used to choke off the flow of oil to the Gulf of Mexico nearly three months after BP's undersea well blew in 2010. And he says it was stolen. Charles Adams of Radford, Va., filed a federal lawsuit last week that names as defendants several players who were involved in helping resolve the disaster. They include Helix Energy Solutions Group, which supplied a rig that helped with the capping mission, and Cameron International, which made the blowout preventer that failed to stop oil from reaching the sea in the first place. So, did Obama just testify that Chu stole the guy's design?
As I recall, Obama made the same claim back at the time of the spill. I don’t think that anyone believed it then. I guess that he lacks the imagination to come up with a new fiction.
Again.
As usual.
Chu didn't do it.
I did.
I went down to Louisiana, rolled up a great big ball of duck-tape and sticky, smelly whale vomit, and jammed it into the leaking pipe with my own hands.
Yup ...
I did.
There's more truth in my claim, than in Bam-Bam's.
Chu’s design was worked out with Kathleen Sebilius. It involved stretching a giant condom over the wellhead.

"Alice's Adventures in Wonderland."
It just dawned on me, I think I know what he’s talking about.
It was people from Transocean that came up with the original idea and plans.
Their plans were submitted to BP and the original plans were change.
The original cap that was built didn’t work. The oil wouldn’t flow because it basically froze up, so they went back somewhat to the original plans more or less.
The original design had a hot oil heater to solve the frozen oil problem which wasn’t on the original build.
More than likely Mr. Paint You Roof White, made them remove the hot oil heater which meant it didn’t work.
I'm sure "he designs caps for oil wells all the time."
He knows the media isn't going to check anything he says, we we've got to do their job. He is totally unchained from the truth.
No problem! His brother over in Kenya invented it.
Yeah, funny thing is politico called BS on Chu oil cap design back in
