Even though it's been fifty years, I can still remember the Boy Scouts code. I believe the last word is reverent. There is nobody putting a gun to anybody's head forcing them to join the Scouts. If they don't want to abide by the code, they can form their org. I know for a fact that there have been many homosexual Scouts, because I had a cousin who was one. But nobody knew it at the time, and I didn't find out my cousin was a homosexual until decades later.

At the time I was a Scout, I didn't know what heterosexual meant much less homosexual. Because nobody needs to know. If you're a homosexual Scout, keep it to yourself. Or get out and form your own org. Nobody's forcing you to be a Scout.

The Boy Scouts have every right to exclude those who do not conform to the longstanding tenets of the organization. Calling it 'discrimination' to bar homosexuals from the Scouts is the height of irony when it's painfully obvious why the ban is in place. For atheists, an organization that puts God in the forefront of it's creed would seem to be a place they would never feel comfortable. That the left keeps pushing the Boy Scouts to abandon their own sensible rules for admission and uses the lame 'discrimination' argument while castigating the group all the while simply indicates that they are determined to destroy this fine organization that has done so much good for so many boys over the past 100 years. Obviously, that, alone, is reason enough for the left to despise it and do everything they can to infiltrate and destroy it. I'm confident that, despite a few wimpy board members poor decision, They will fail.
