Mom protects her son from three intruders who broke into her house and had a gun and duck tape. The audio clip is on Michael Berry's podcasts. She shoots one of the intruders and another one takes her gun and runs. She tells what happened in her own words. It starts 20 minutes into the first MP3 audio. Click Here.
Michael Holds her over for the break and she continues Click Here.
This mom tells the whole encounter in her own words. This is the best 2nd Amendment rights story I have heard.

Takes her gun and runs? Huh.
Maybe to keep her from reloading...
Undoubtedly up to some fowl deed.
Regards,
Wouldn’t have taken mine....maybe some rounds.....
You need to listen to the audio. She had already shot one of the intruders and this guy ran into the closet to hide. He overpowered her and got her gun and ran.

Really? The stuff does NOT meet code for use on air ducts, and "Duck" is a very common brand.
IMO, "duck tape" is correct.
Where can I get some of that Duck Tape?
So I bypassed the first click because I didn’t want to sit through 20 minutes of his blathering, well intended as it probably was. I went for the ‘continuation’ link and waited through another 5-10 minutes of him telling us how he ‘moderates’....sorry, I lost patience with this. She didn’t come into the scene until about 10 minutes....by that time, I moved on.
Radical left wing extremist demokkkrats don’t care how many lives might be saved with law abiding guns. They are all bad and got to go. I see there are still marauding gangs of guns cruising the streets of ram eeemanuals town shooting up the place. How’s that gun prohibition working for you ram? If they would only comply with the background checks, this wouldn’t be happening. Right? Maybe not.
I think she should have a closet door shot full of holes rather than surrender her weapon.
The one who ran into the closet should have been shot multiple times IMMEDIATELY ... he was sitting on a loaded shotgun her husband keeps in the closet!

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office said Adrian Granados-Yepez, 27, of Tomball, was arrested at Memorial Hermann Hospital Monday night, where he was being treated for a gunshot wound.
That’s where training and a litle practice comes into play. Bless the gal for defending herself and her kids but it sounds like she was taking time to think——it has to be instinctive and automatic when the stuff hits the fan——you can do the paperwork later.
Deputies said Granados-Yepez was apparently wounded by a woman after he and two other men broke into her home in the 18700 block of Mink Lake Road about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
As the men forced their way into the residence, a 33-year-old woman who was in the home with her 6-year-old child, grabbed a gun and opened fire. The would-be burglars ran away, but one of them was apparently wounded.
No descriptions were immediately available of the suspects who were on the run.
Anyone with information about the case is urged to contact the Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at 800 392-STOP, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 936 760-5800 or Detectives S. Mullis or P. Hahs at 936 760-5876.

“...from the basement of the science building...”
The original product was “Duck” tape. “...The first name for Duct Tape was DUCK. During World War II the U.S. Military needed a waterproof tape to keep the moisture out of ammunition cases. So, they enlisted the Johnson and Johnson Permacel Division to manufacture the tape. Because it was waterproof, everyone referred to it as duck tape (like water off a ducks back). Military personnel discovered that the tape was good for lots more than keeping out water. They used it for Jeep repair, fixing stuff on their guns, strapping equipment to their clothing... the list is endless.”
Houston - Cayden, a six-year-old Houston boy with Down syndrome, was falling asleep next to his mother at 8:15 pm on the night of Friday, January 25. It is their nightly ritual to lay in his bed until Cayden falls asleep before his mother finishes her housework, while her husband works the nightshift at a veterinary clinic. But this night turned out to be anything but typical.
A loud crash came through the living room window, followed by three Hispanic men rushing into the house. Erin (her real first name but she asked that her last name not be used) covered her son's face so he wouldn't watch, and ran to release her caged dogs and grab her weapon. She reached the dogs, but not the gun, before the armed men stopped her...... snip
