Fury is brewing at Rocky Mountain High School, in Colorado, after a multicultural student group were encouraged to recite the Pledge of Allegiance over the loudspeaker in Arabic - replacing ´one nation under God´ with ´one nation under Allah´. Following Monday´s pledge, Principal Tom Lopez has been inundated with complaints from outraged parents concerned that saying the Pledge in any language other than English is unpatriotic. Standing by his controversial decision, Principal Lopez has said that despite the irate telephone calls and emails, he is not in any way or form trying to push an

Doubtful. Prolly part of the movement attempting to splinter the fabric of the Country.
Like I said earlier...If you don’t want to say the pledge...Give your word, your honor to this country and it’s flag, it’s alright...don’t say it...
BUT...It is NOT your right to CHANGE it!!!!!!!
And every time we do nothing, something more shocking happens. We are being tested and conditioned, and are failing.
Tell ya what: you can have your freedom of speech, and freedom from religion...as soon as I can bear my firearms openly in your school. If we are all about the constitution, lets go all in.
“..... unless Arabic was just one language in a long rotation of languages into which the Pledge of Allegiance was translated and read .....”
WHAT? ENGLISH is the ONLY language that the pledge should EVER be recited in. PERIOD!
“We are being tested and conditioned, and are failing.”
Miserably, I would add.
I wonder what the survivors of the WTC think about this outrage. After all, there were over 3000 people murdered in the name of ALLAH. Actually, that might have been the last word heard by passengers on the four planes. So what do we do? The people in that school district should organize a well attended boycott and not allow their kids to attend classes until the person responsible is fired.
Well there was some odd taffy sort of candy bar and I picked it up to read the label and try to figure out what exactly is in this (allegedly) "Oh So British" candy bar. It had a "dual language label"... much like you see on everything here in the States anymore... the exception was this label was in Arabic or Farsi... I don't know... I put the "candy" back down... it may have been C4 with instructions on how to blow the hinges off a cockpit door for all I know.
Allah Save the Queen.
Hey, kids! Why don’t we say some muzzlem prayers but replace all the “Allahs” with “Our Lord and Savior Jesus?” Wouldn’t that be fun??
Come now. I’m sure my great-grandfather when he first came to this country would have quite happily pledged his allegiance to our flag, and the Republic for which it stands, in his native Norwegian before he could pronounce the English pledge well enough to not be ashamed of his English and even before he was granted citizenship: when he chose to emigrate from Norway for family reasons, he chose to immigrate to the U.S. precisely because of his love for our republican form of government. His doing so would not on any account have been wrong. (Of course when he arrived, the words “under God” had not been included added.)
Of course, we Orthodox Christians like to translate the Hebrew YHWH into whatever language we’re speaking, rather than leaving it in Hebrew: it becomes “I Am” or “The Existing One” in English or “ho On” in Greek (using o for omicron and O for omega).
Without the translation, one misses why the Jews really wanted to stone Jesus when He said “Before Abraham was, I am” — it wasn’t because He was claiming priority over Abraham, however offensive that might have been to Jews in the time of His earthly ministry, it was because he was saying “I’m God,” and they’d have gotten the point whether He said it in Aramaic, Greek or Hebrew.
bs, i don’t believe him. fire his ass.
Agreed. Although there are some ignorant buffoons on this forum who think otherwise, Allah is Arabic for God and the Koran specifically states that Allah is the God of Abraham. The same God worshiped by Christians and Jews. The reason to be upset about this is more subtle than mere semantics.
Oh of course...raghead prayer mats =good, crosses and stars of david=bad. If my kid went there I`d call my lawyer and send my kid to school wearing a foot long crucifix and make a test case out of this. Islam should be ppurged from this country...this planet.
I will NEVER accept that the “Allah” of the Koran is the God of Abraham. Moslems worship the Devil.
You are correct. They are the children of Cain, worshipping Satan. They love death and pain and destruction. You knoqw them by their acts.
The above was for Chuckster. Dont know how it was mislabeled. I hate these tiny phone keys.

One complaint from one student or parent on anything, and a school folds. But with the complaints from so many on this outrageous act, and he stands firm!
What are we coming to? I know — and I fear it. But it just makes me want to fight back!
