New term, new project. First Lady Michelle Obama has quietly dropped her "Let's Move" campaign, the healthy eating push she took on for schools all over the country during her husband's first term.
First Lady Michelle Obama appears to have abandoned, at least for now, her oft-criticized Lets Move initiative to promote exercise and healthy eating among the nations youth, halting public appearances and statements related to the program.
Mrs. Obama does not appear to have done anything much to personally publicize the initiative in more than four months since she released a video in early September welcoming children back to school and telling them about the healthy, delicious new choices on school lunch menus. In August she had a Kids State Dinner at the White House to showcase healthy eating.
Townhall columnist Kyle Olson reported in September on growing complaints kids were going hungry as a result of Michelle Obama's lunch overhaul.
In Wisconsin, high school athletes are complaining about not getting enough to eat each day, due to the skimpy new school lunch menu mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture and First Lady Michelle Obama.
The story we published earlier this week on that subject is unfortunately not unique. Students across the country are complaining about the new school lunch regulations.
Perhaps the real motive is to starve students into slimming down. Just ask students in Pierre, South Dakota who, too, are in an all-out revolt.
"I know a lot of my friends who are just drinking a jug of milk for their lunch. And they are not getting a proper meal," middle school student Samantha Gortmaker told Keloland.com.
Despite the fact that the new regulations have increased the cost of a lunch 20 to 25 cents per plate, its not pleasing students.
Some are throwing away their vegetables while others are adapting to the rules by becoming industrious. In New Bedford, Massachusetts, students have created a black market - for chocolate syrup. The kiddie capitalists are smuggling in bottles of it and selling it by the squeeze, according to SouthCoastToday.com.
Nancy Carvalho, director of food services for New Bedford Public Schools, was quoted as saying that hummus and black bean salads have been tough sells in elementary cafeterias. That means even smaller children are going through the day fighting hunger pains, which can never be considered a good thing.
If Michelle Obama isn't moving this term, what is she doing? So far she's been helping her husband launch a new massive community organizing project known as "Organizing for Action" to promote progressive policy ideas.
How’s her garden doing?
And to think our grocers only just put up promotionals showing Michelle and that stupid creepy kids’ show hero Sporticus.
Does this mean I also won’t be seeing her commie face on the kids’ TV channels anymore?
What egregious unseemly politicizing.
Organizing for Communist Action is more like it.
These kids need protein...vegie do just that....turn you into vegetables....unless you have a huge supplementary program
WASHINGTON Derek Bovard, a 40-year computer technician in Castle Rock, Colo., was up watching Fox News early the morning of Jan. 18 when he saw the news that President Obamas advisors were launching a new advocacy group called Organizing for Action.
Bovard jumped on the computer and snapped up the domain name Organizingforaction.net. He then proceeded to configure the site so all hits are directed to the website for the National Rifle Assn. the very group that Obama is facing off against in his efforts to toughen gun laws.
Im for the Second Amendment, Bovard said. Im not in agreement with a lot of things that are going on right now. If they dont like it, they can buy it from me.
Bovard, who paid about $10 to register the site, said hed sell it for somewhere around $10,000.
So she’s finally starting the “LET’S MOO” movement..
As with North Korea, the kids are going hungry because Mrs Obama is eating all of the food.
Organizing For Action Too unorganized to secure its own domain name.
As God is my witness, I was trying to be nice about Obama for America / Organizing For America / Organizing For Action / Oafs [Flatulating] Around / whatever else it is that theyre calling themselves these days anyway, I was trying to be nice about the fact that the latest iteration of the group was having trouble getting itself up and running, or even upright. Partially because even the best led group in the world can have tremendous difficulties with its launch (so imagine how much trouble OFAs going to be in, organizationally speaking!) and partially because the risk of karmic backlash was just too high for casual mockery. Id need to have something special happen before I was prepared to point and laugh.

Obama supporters have developed a reputation for being tech savvy, but they may have dropped the ball on this one. Organizing for Action, the advocacy group founded to enable Obama 2012 campaign supporters to lobby lawmakers and the public on issues of importance to them, has failed to register its own domain name.
The result is that Organizingforaction.net, Organizingforaction.com and Organizingforaction.org have all been registered to some enterprising individuals who snapped up the domains on January 18, the day the news broke about the new group. The people listed as the contacts didnt respond to e-mails asking them what they intend to do with domains.
lol..she best get her gloves on...another month and that soil needs turned over and worked on...because we know she does all the work...right? and processes all the garden produces..can, freeze, dry...all the fun things farmers do...
With Organizing for Action, Obama has chosen to embrace the political power of his office by expanding the permanent campaign in an unprecedented way while creating new avenues for the soft corporate money that he spent years warning against.
Chaired by former Obama campaign manager Jim Messina, OFA will work to enact the president’s second-term agenda. Super PACs and other outside Democratic groups, freed from the constraints of election laws that banned certain coordination between them and the Obama campaign, will be able to share information and resources with OFA as they try to elect more Democrats to Congress.
The Democratic groups hope that OFA can keep Obama voters active and engaged enough to turn out in the midterm elections, which traditionally see a smaller, older and less diverse electorate. In the 2010 midterms, 45 million fewer voters showed up to cast their ballots than in 2008. Republicans won 63 seats in the House, taking control of the lower chamber, and six seats in the Senate, significantly cutting into the Democrats’ majority.

(new massive community organizing project coming)
What ACORN two?.
Well, most likely, she no longer needs the program, as she had already introduced all of the school lunch changes that resulted in transferring certain funds to her friends.
Huh, shed our "cynicism"?
Not allow us to go back to our lives "as usual"?
Do they think they can do a better and more thorough job than the man from Berlin?
Haha. I'm actually surprised the program died so fast.
Good. I am glad that she is droping the natzi school lunch program. Now maybe kids can become healthy again. Community Organizer is more her speed.
OOOH!!!!! That gave me an idea for weight loss! I should put a picture of Michelle in my kitchen and I will lose my appetite!
She stopped talking about healthy eating because her ass is gettin’ fatter and it ain’t because she’s been eatin’ her vegetables.
