Bush said in a Wall Street Journal op-ed last week that efforts to tackle immigration reform on a piecemeal basis are short-sighted and self-defeating.

If Rubio ran to the left of Jeb on immigration, he’s made a major, major error. Jeb is terrible on this issue, Rubio’s road to the White House is an immigration reform bill that most of the conservative base can accept. It would skyrocket him as a principled pragmatist.

Exactly right... Kabuki. Playing bad cop, good cop.
They are total allies in their desires for open-borders, here trying to play a little game to fool the GOP electorate.

This has to be made very apparent ASAP! What he has said recently tells me he has no chance with conservatives.

I guess that cowardly scumbag Jeb wants “comprehensive” reform, ie., a big bill that hides all the crap that would never get approved “piecemeal”.

The GOP-e have already anointed Bush-Rubio to be the losing ticket of preference for 2016.Well, I'm sure they are indeed trying to grease the skids for Jeb, but I can't see an all-Florida ticket.
I suspect the ticket they really want is Jeb Bush/Pork Porkie.
