President Barack Obama on Sunday paid tribute to the victims of the Holocaust by vowing to “stand in the way of any tyrant or dictator who commits crimes against humanity.”
“We honor the memories of the 6 million Jews and millions of other innocent victims whose lives were tragically taken during the Holocaust over sixty years ago,” Obama said in a statement marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day. “Those who experienced the horrors of the cattle cars, ghettos, and concentration camps have witnessed humanity at its very worst and know too well the pain of losing loved ones to senseless violence.”
Obama has invoked the phrase “senseless violence” multiple times in his push for more gun control following the Newtown, Conn. massacre.
Jan. 27 marks the anniversary of the 1945 liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp, designed as part of the Nazis’ “Final Solution” to systematically exterminate the Jews — a deliberate act that while incomprehensible, was hardly “senseless.”
Obama said while Holocaust remembrance is a time for mourning and reflection, “it is also the time for action.”
“On this day, we recall the courage, spirit, and determination of those who heroically resisted the Nazis, exemplifying the very best of humanity,” he said. “The United States, along with the international community, resolves to stand in the way of any tyrant or dictator who commits crimes against humanity, and stay true to the principle of ‘Never Again.’”
“By remaining vigilant against those who seek to perpetrate violence and murder, we honor those we lost during one of the darkest periods in human history. And we keep their memory alive for generations to come,” he said.
He’ll say anything, but what he does is usually the opposite of what he says. If you wonder what he is planning all you often need to do is figure out what is the opposite of what he is saying. He knows how to say what people want to hear in great and swelling ways, but when the time is right and he has the necessary power, watch out!

This reminds me of his trip to Buchenwald. There was only one sentence in his address that I believe he actually meant -
“We are here today because we know this work is not yet finished.”

The Warsaw Ghetto uprising is one of the great stories of WWII, out if which too little to celebrate came. I remember as a kid wondering why the Jews didn’t fight back. The answer is they did when they could: in Warsaw, in the wilderness of Poland/Belarus, at Treblinka and Sobibor.
Another great story that doesn’t get enough play from Warsaw is the uprising that took place, not by Jews since they were already wiped out, but across the whole city by patriots while the Russians sat idly by and let the nazis kill future opponents of the soon to be puppet regime. That would include vigilence against Obama, who single handedly has been responsible for tens of thousands of unecessary deaths across the Magreb by unecessary war on Libya in order to release/seed Libyas arsenal to Al Qaeda.
Now the entire Magreb is unstable, with tens of thousands of people unnecessarily dead. The mujahadeen have 20 to 30 thousand shoulder launched stinger style missles in their Russian iteration, able to knock down air liners from up to 20,000 feet in altitude ( No airport will be safe.)

Obama also wants every Jew in the world exterminated. This is very clear from Obama’s activity in the Magreb and his arming of the mujahadeen and supply of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood with F-16s.
