This is the first day of the gun show since the City of Austin discussed possibly banning from the Travis County Expo Center. State law, however, prevailed because the move would have proved illegal in Texas... It took 20 minutes to park the truck and about an hour waiting in line,
Another group, One Million Moms for Gun Control marched at the Texas Capitol... The group expected over 100 participants to join in the Austin event.

Compare the 100 expected at the protest to the hour long line just to get into the show.
Some (not much) is still available online.
Get it!
I can share my purchase experiences in the last week. Freep mail me if you are in the market. I will share what I know and add to your research if I can.
Fixed it.
Well, that just speaks volumes, libs.
New math? 100 is almost 1,000,000?
There was a gun show here in southern ILL (Effingham) also today, hubby went & he said he estimated 600 to 700 people just milling around in there at one time. The parking lot was jammed & the mall was busier than it was even at Christmas. Grandson said he was there when the door opened at 8 a.m. & there were a lot waiting to get inside the door.
Illinois has the background check & has for years but the criminals usually steal the guns they use anyway.
Probably the same poor fools that belong to MADD.
There is a gun show here in Houston today and tomorrow.
I always get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I go to a gun show.
Liberals should be allowed in without an entrance fee just to show them that gun owners are the most polite and considerate citizens.

They all have a problem with numbers. Add a zero to any number, and they go guano.
“Million Moms for Gun Control?”
“The group expected over 100 participants to join in the Austin event.”

Austin Idiots.
hee hee hee
WOW!!! A whole hundred!!!Of course that’s what they expected....I guessing a whole dozen showed up
I don't care who you are....that is funny as hell.
Hubby and I were there. We got there around 9am, but still waited in the line for 50 minutes to get in. People were patient although the line seemed endless. Everyone was polite. So many kids there. It is definitely one of the safest places for kids! :)
And my Pflugerville Wallyworld’s shelves are empty of Handgun ammo.
So where were the other 999,900 moms?
Polite? Yep Texas
Safe? Yep Texas
Freedom is an intoxicant from which you never recover.
I was at the WW on 685 last weekend. The shelves were bare.
