Focus on the 2014 election is also imperative. It’s going to be like 2010, but this time around we need to shake up the GOP machine that tries to orchestrate away too much of the will of constitutional conservatives who don’t give a hoot how they do it in DC.

We’re not going to be able to advance the cause of limited constitutional government unless we deal with these big government enablers on our side....

2. Where do you think the country stands at the beginning of the President's 2nd term?

Conservatism didn’t lose. A moderate Republican candidate lost after he was perceived to alienate working class Reagan Democrat and Independent voters who didn’t turn out for him as much as they did for the McCain/Palin ticket in 2008. Granted, those same voters also didn’t turn out for Obama as strongly either. We had an election defined by a biased media plus millions of voters who sat it out in disgust.

As long as we allow the media and GOP establishment to tell us who our nominees must be, we can expect to lose. I’m not interested in losing. America’s next generation can’t afford another loss.

Good to hear from Sarah Palin. I am glad she left Fox News which is fast becoming a Lib + GOP-e love nest. Funny thing.. I subscribed to cable several years ago to watch Fox news. Now Fox news is nowhere near the top of my viewing interest. I have not watched anything on Fox in months.

Sarah’s September 3, 2011 anti-cronyism, get government out of supporting big corporations, anti lobbying, free market speech that even the NYT raved about should make any libertarian shout for joy! I don’t understand why the libertariansi know are so pro-bashing Sarah but never actually want to pay attention to what she says

I'm very libertarian. I was there. And I loved her speech! These are the issues that can unite libertarians and socons, if we can all just focus. Sigh.

I tried this this fall w/ FB, hints around the edges to whom I thought were reachable people, appeal with common sense and data we all know and they don't because they are still plugged into the lame-streams....

I got 2 maybe to pull the lever for Romney, the hundreds of others? Zero-Zip-Dada.

I don't know how we do it, we are dealing with entrenched Epistemology here and short of a conversion of heart to throw off the shackles of pulling the lever for the DNC and challenging everything they know as truths is shoveling ***t against the tide.

I am sorry I am not optimistic, but it is worse with people of high intelligence and advanced degrees who can't see the cause and effect or Gov't largess and the loss of liberty it entails, so many of them are Low Information Voters.

I hope Sarah has an answer to reach people, I am plum out....

I will never trust Chris Christie after his Sandy tour with Obama and Menendez. Christie had to know about Menendez before the grand tour of the hurricaine hit areas. Now, we are learning that the FBI was already investigating Menendez for his island sex parties with underage prostitutes before the story about the illegal sex offender intern broke on the same day as Chris Christie was leading Obama and Menendez on the promotional tour.

You are so right! I've been saying that for a long time. The communists basically took over the Democratic party from within. Why cannot conservatives do the same and take over the Republican party? How do we do that? How do we organize for that? I love the idea of a Liberty Club within the GOP!! Why can't we have a "pre-primary primary" where conservatives (Liberty Club) decide on the ONE conservative contender, and join together all our forces to knock out the GOPe pick, then go on with an awesome candidate to knock out the Democrat in every contended race. We do this in the 2014 elections, continue working on voter fraud and voter id issues, stop immigration flooding in, and then we'd be ready for 2016. I honestly believe if Repubs weren't so divided within their own party we could do this! But how is done or organized? --------------------

She is right—a revitalized tea Party is needed—not a 3rd party but a Movement. Like the old Lincoln/Progressives Club in the early 20th Century. A Liberty Club within the GOP. We must be grass roots—seek the statehouses! Go for congress and Senate. If we can defang Harry Reed we can start to end Obama’s Mis-rule.
