Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, fatima, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
Not sure if anyone has picked this one, so...
"Where the Streets Have No Name" by U2.
The DC Metroland weather report
~ Today... Cloudy. Snow likely this afternoon.
Cold. High 27F. Winds SE at 5 to 10 mph.
Chance of snow 80%. Snowfall around one inch.
~ Tonight... Snow showers this evening.
Breaks in the overcast later. Low 21F.
Winds WSW at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 50%
Now God knows I hate the frigid temperatures.
If we don't get a break soon, I just might have to do this:
My plans for the weekend are little cleaning
and lots of hibernating!
Yup, indeed, yes siree, for sure.
Gotta make the rounds quickly before someone comes a knockin'
and there was some work waiting for me when I came in.
Gotta get on that before the snow arrives.
But, you stay right where you are.
Don't leave the room...I'll be bock!
Remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

Kathy, requesting permission to post a newspaper article written years ago about my husband’s band trip to Oscoda, MI to play at Wurtsmith AFB NCO club. The article is 3 paperback book pages long, but funny as heck.
