Military Scramble Order Overseas:
First, I've got over 26 years working in military control towers, most of them as the watch supervisor/crew chief on duty.
Scrambling aircraft to respond to urgent situations normally starts at the North American Aerospace Defense Command.
The scramble order comes down through a secured phone call on a direct line.
In the attack on the U.S. embassy on Benghazi, the drone control would have been from MacDill AFB, FL, by U.S. Central Command, and would have been in direct contact, or maybe even remote control to the situation room in the White House.

The pResident SHOULD HAVE issued to order to scramble fighters to Benghazi, to get there in minimum time.
Then he SHOULD HAVE issued a second order scrambling AC-130 gunships to respond to Benghazi, and have them stand by for more orders.

This should have been controlled by the pResident, who should have monitored and responded with guidance from his Situation Room,

staffed by men and women from the Department of Homeland Security, the intelligence community, and the military,
all of whom are committed to ensuring that the President of the United States is provided all the information and intelligence he needs to do his job.

More details emerge on U.S. ambassador's last moments from CNN states:
" Three days before the deadly assault on the United States consulate in Libya, a local security official says he met with American diplomats in the city and warned them about deteriorating security.

Jamal Mabrouk, a member of the February 17th Brigade, told CNN that he and a battalion commander had a meeting about the economy and security.

He said they told the diplomats that the security situation wasn't good for international business.

'The situation is frightening, it scares us,' Mabrouk said they told the U.S. officials. He did not say how they responded.

Muslims are well know for lying about their faith.
MUSLIMS are allowed to LIE and deceive NON MUSLIMS, if it benefits or protects ISLAM.
Qur'an (16:106) - Establishes that there are circumstances that can "compel" a Muslim to tell a lie.

Qur'an (3:28) - This verse tells Muslims not to take those outside the faith as friends, unless it is to "guard themselves."

Qur'an (9:3) - "...Allah and His Messenger are free from liability to the idolaters..." The dissolution of oaths with the pagans who remained at Mecca following its capture. They did nothing wrong, but were evicted anyway.

Qur'an (40:28) - A man is introduced as a believer, but one who must "hide his faith" among those who are not believers.

Qur'an (2:225) - "Allah will not call you to account for thoughtlessness in your oaths, but for the intention in your hearts"

Qur'an (66:2) - "Allah has already ordained for you, (O men), the dissolution of your oaths"

Qur'an (3:54) - "And they (the disbelievers) schemed, and Allah schemed (against them): and Allah is the best of schemers." The Arabic word used here for scheme (or plot) is makara, which literally means deceit. If Allah is deceitful toward unbelievers, then there is little basis for denying that Muslims are allowed to do the same. (See also 8:30 and 10:21)

Taken collectively these verses are interpreted to mean that there are circumstances when a Muslim may be "compelled" to deceive others for a greater purpose.

Couple of things from yesterday.

I think it will be very rough for Republicans the next few years, if they survive as a party that long. Life is always rough for people who won't stand up to bullies. Too bad. Maybe they should have played some contact sports as kids, or got into a few schoolyard fights.

Watching the tears of joy, and the people running around with tingles going up or down theirs legs, I just get the intuitive sense that by the end of Obama's next term, a lot of these people are going to be weeping bitter tears and have the taste of ashes in their mouths. We will see.

Some positive things seem to be coming about. Many States have told Obama to take his Obamacare and do an enema with it. Some States are openly telling Obama that they will not permit Federal Agents to confiscate guns from their citizens, and that they will arrest and prosecute those that try. Many Sheriff's are signing and sending letters to Obama stating that they will not comply with the Federal Government if it tries to confiscate weapons. Some States are openly defying the ATF and passing bills which authorize legal firearms to be manufactured in the States designated for sale only within the borders of the States, and therefore not being subject to ATF oversight.

What is happening is the result of the policy of non-courage and non-leadership coming from the Republican Party. The people are saying in essence: "We know you don't want to fight and don't have the heart for it. We know you are afraid and you are cowards. We really do understand, and we're not being unsympathetic. You can step aside now, we'll take it from here."

In America, when leaders are cowards, true leadership emerges to take its place.
