Rush’s comment about “THE RULING CLASS” says it all.
The ruling class is the same starting with the medieval religious endorsement of “the divine right” of kings, together with the perpetual religious hierarchy and the king’s court, entourage, and all the lower nobility. They were all in on perpetuating the status quo and enslaving the “commoners”, or those who actually worked for a living.
Today, we have the unions, the media, and the government - enslaving the rest of us in exactly the same way.
The French did exactly the right thing in 1789.
Pretty sure there won’t be a revolution but it’s fun to think about.
