OGDEN, Utah -- Emilie Parker, a 6-year-old victim of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, was laid to rest next to her grandfather Saturday in the town where she was born.
Burial at Evergreen Memorial Park followed a private funeral for family and close friends at a Mormon church across the street from Ben Lomond High School, where Emilie's parents, Robbie and Alissa Parker, met.

If you don’t think this thread is controversial, then you probably aren’t one of the heartless people.
The point I had for creating this thread was to post evidence from multiple sources that Emilie Parker existed, and was real, and is dead, and her family is real, and suffered a great loss.
There are multiple freepers posting in various threads that Parker is a liar, that Emilie is alive, that the family is fake. I find this ignorance of fact unacceptable and offensive, and this is how I decided to respond.
Each comment is a different article, providing a different piece of evidence showing the existence of the dead girl and the reality of her family.
Maybe it will shame those spreading scurrilous slander against the family to stop. But if not, at least it gives reasonable freepers a place to get the information, and maybe to post their own refutation of the hate and alander of the few.
I don’t know if the explanation for motivation of the shooter is valid. There is an ongoing investigation, and for all we know, there’s a note that explains things. There was a lot of misinformation that first day.
But we don’t have to understand the mind of the killer to accept the fact that he killed children, including Emilie Parker.
Yes. I included the date on the main article, December 22. IT’s all old news, except to the freepers who still insist that Emilie is alive, or her father is a liar or an actor.
I have many questions as well, and hope the investigation provides answers. But I have no doubt that Emilie Parker was alive, and now is dead, and her family is grieving.
This thread is not about calling out specific freepers. I’ve done that in threads where they post, and called them on their specific comments.
This thread is to collect all the evidence against ONE of the many idiotic “theories” about Sandy Hook.
The sad thing is that these false attacks on the victims of Sandy Hook don’t make every freeper angry.
Why don't you start your own thread. And PUT A NAME on the couple you claim are "actors", so we can actually research your claim, and put the truth to your fiction by showing the life of the people you are slandering.
It's much easier to make things up about people when you don't name them.
But this thread is about Emilie Parker and his family. SO unless this unnamed family you are attacking is Parker, please find your own thread. I don't have the time to answer every wild conspiracy nut in this thread.
That is a video of Robbie Parker, the father of Emilie Parker. He is one of the parents of a dead child, and as seen in the dozen separate sources posted in this thread, is NOT an actor, and is well-known to multiple eye-witnesses who have given public testimony to his identity and that of his daughter.
I’m sorry he wasn’t appropriately emotional for your taste, but your claim that he is an actor is offensive, and given the overwhelming evidence presented in this thread, false and defamatory.
Why would you come into this thread, with all the proof given, and still attempt to deceive other freepers by claiming the guy is an actor?
To those who ask what the point of this thread is, look at this claim, and the claim of a few others in this thread, and you should understand what should be upsetting to every rational freeper — this refusal to accept facts clearly presented, and the slander of victims of a horrific shooting, and the consequent black eye these bad actors (the freepers posting these ludicrous claims) give to our cause, and the aid and comfort they give to those who want to ban guns, who point to the bizarre attacks on the victims, and attempt to smear all of us with the offensive actions of the few.
Well, you lost me on that one. In the story to which you are responding, the pictures show Robbie Parker, the SAME MAN who was in the videos earlier in december, and he is wearing a suit and tie, kind of pinkish tie.
There were many events surrounding the daughter’s funeral, so maybe you referenced the wrong post, and are talking about a different article with different pictures.
I posted a link to several family photos which were taken before the tragedy.
And in all of them, Robbie Parker is Robbie Parker, the same man who appeared on camera right after the shooting, shocked but lucid in his comments about his daughter.
It amazes me how many people can’t tell which pictures show the same person, and which pictures are clearly different people.
We don't have to assume, there are 20 dead children's bodies, buried now in 20 newly dug graves, that PROVE the matter.
If you are still questioning whether there was actually a murder, you need to get yourself back into reality.
I know nothing about the Parker family, except what I have read in news accounts, from multiple independent sources, since the shooting.
There are people who know them personally, probably hundreds. There is not a SINGLE report of any person claiming they KNEW the Parkers, and that this is NOT the Parkers. Instead, every person who is interviewed who knew the Parkers confirm that these are the Parkers.
I suppose it would be great if a family from the town who knew the victims could come here and give personal testimony. But I don’t know if I could expect them to be believed either.
At some point, we all have to have “belief”, since none of us can physically go to every place and observe every event. We have to trust the eyewitness reports of others, we have to put some faith in the ability of a flawed media to provide the truth.
You can of course instead decide that the media always lies, but then I don’t know how you can come to any conclusion about anything outside the tiny sphere of your own existence, since everything we know comes from the word of others.
Thanks for posting to the thread, I just wanted to make clear that I don’t know these people, nor am I personally vouching for them. I’m quoting people who are vouching for them.
I wouldn't know why a person would react in any particular way. Maybe someone told him a good joke. Maybe someone asked him about his mortgage. Maybe he was trying to take his mind off the tragedy that had befallen his family. Maybe he compartmentalizes. Maybe he was in a daze, or shell-shocked. Or maybe he is one of those insensitive males, who never really connects emotionally. The point of this thread is that Robbie Parker is a real person, not an actor. He has family who identify him. He has friends who testify to his life and identity. He has loved ones who came to his side. There are multiple people who were contacted by multiple independent news outlets, and who all bear witness that Emilie Parker was real, is dead, Robbie is the father, Alissa is the mother, they are in mourning, their daughter is buried, and claims that they are actors hired to pretend there was a killing are false. We don't need to know why he acted in a particular way. We just need to know that the way he acted does not in any way show he isn't Robbie Parker.
I know it is not my fault, but I feel compelled to apologize to freepers who may have come here to see about the proof regarding Robbie Parker, and have to deal with attacks about molesting priests.
I wish there was a way to have people set up their own threads to advance their own theories about why Adam Lanza was a killer, so they didn’t have to use other threads.
I’ve missed the whole conspiracy theory business about Sandy Hook until tonight. Those theorists are no less sick than the pols who raced to the nearest mic before those babies’ bodies were even removed from the classroom.
To those who suggest that Mr. Parker’s reaction was unnatural or contrived, I would ask how they handled the massacre of their own children. Or how unnatural was the reaction of the Amish families in Lancaster County, PA.
How people suffer unspeakable grief is highly individual. Unless we have experienced what they have, God forbid, I think folks might want to keep their uneducated opinions to themselves.

The community had a dangerous pedophile as a Priest. And the Church knew about it. And the Church continued to allow him access to children.

The Diocese of Bridgeport was warned about the Priest.
They hired him anyway.
He was busted in a sex sting.

Why are you sullying a thread about one little six year old girl’s burial with these theories about a Catholic priest, about the psychology of Adam Lanza etc.? It’s really ugly. There might be another time and/or place to post this stuff. It’s more than inappropriate here. It’s warped.

I don’t understand why he was parading around in front of cameras laughing and talking about his mortgage . He reminded me of that graphic people are always posting of Clinton crying when he saw the camera.

I don’t know if you have ever had a personal trauma like these families suffered. The closest I came was months on end watching my son in a hospital bed, not knowing if he was going to live. He survived, so I do NOT know personally about the loss of a child. But I can assure you, my mind could only cope by letting it stray from the crisis at hand and by grasping for the ‘normal.’ Maybe ‘normally’ Mr. Parker’s big worry was his mortgage. Newtown is an upscale/expensive place to live. Maybe his mind had to revert to what suddenly became his #2 concern because meeting a mortgage is something he’d have some control over. None of us knows that experience and none of us is in a position to judge.
Btw, those of you that go to St Rose of Lima might tell your good Monsignor that if the school goes on Lockdown he might want to stay there for a bit and make sure his own students are all right and that everything is okay. The shooter could have been heading for his school. It could have been a terrorist attack with multiple shooters. It could have been a coordinated attack. Not a good idea to run off until everything is secure IN YOUR OWN SCHOOL.
