Hmm..thanks for the tip. The only ARs I’ve ever seen have been in 5.56 or 7.62.

Yep, they do and a fine caliber it is. Unfortunately it will take a long time to get one unless you are lucky and want to pay the premium price at a gun show. I ordered a flat top match barrel upper from Armalite for my AR-10 last December. When can I expect delivery I asked? How about November of 2013.
