MOUNT CARMEL, Pa. — A 5-year-old Pennsylvania girl who told another girl she was going to shoot her with a pink toy gun that blows soapy bubbles has been suspended from kindergarten.
Her family has hired an attorney to fight the punishment, which initially was 10 days but was reduced to two.

This is so predictable. They will lock down a school for someone making a gun sign with their hand, and do nothing meaningful (like arming teachers and staff)that would stop a real threat.
I think we need to put a requirement on all new hires that they have a CCW.
Just before THINKING about guns or ammo near a school is banned.
This is merely zero-tolerance policy in action teaching the child that they are not allowed to fight back against a bully at the bus stop. Welcome to the real world, kid.
Where do these principals come from?

This is totally rediculous! When people have gotten so stupid as to think this is okay, we are done. This was only a toy. No harm was done except by the Mount Carmel area school district. My grandparents were from there. I’m glad they chose to leave.
At one time they were going to make Mt. Carmel, PA the civil defense headquarters of the USA. They figured that if the enemy flew over it looked like it had already been bombed.

Going to court is counter productive. The only productive action is to leave, abandon the wackos.
Teachers & principals should be required to take a course in COMMON SENSE.
Couldn’t the adult presumably the teacher simply take the pink toy bubble gun away from the two children to defuse the situation if they were not playing nicely?
I live in this area and can confirm that guns are as common as flashlights here...and public school personnel are as dumb as rocks. Another reason to homeschool — and I did.

How about a national point your finger gun at school day? Let’s start by getting rid of this stupid Zero Tolerance policy the left has instituted.
Let’s organize a protest by our children to be done on the same day that has them point finger guns at each other. If enough people get involved it would overwhelm the statists and shut down the stupid policy.

You are 100% correct...’we are done’. Any parent that would allow their kids to be taught/brain-washed by these immature idiots should have their heads examined.

Not sure if this possible explosive and deadly incident was even on school property. The article only says they were waiting for the bus.
The lesson here is not for this little girl, but for ALL the other kids. The little girl will be fine... sounds like her parents are sane and trying to make this right by their daughter.
The other kids, on the other hand, are watching this unfold and learning the lesson to “hate guns”, WITHOUT the experience of suspension to propel their parents to counteract the hate being taught.
In PA no less.
Watch for more gun control measures to be enacted.

This is just how far down the rabbit hole this country has gone. Stupidity run rampant by the education system. “No-tolerance” equates to NO BRAINS/NO COMMON SENSE. Good grief - the girl didn’t even have the “Bubble Gun” with her....that’s right folks - a bubble gun. My goodness....I wonder just how many bubbles it takes to kill someone. BEWARE THE KILLER BUBBLES.
