Hannity had Jessie Duff, a world champion shooter on his show tonight to demonstrate several different semi-automatic rifles and pistols showing the caliber and how they fire as well:

Judging by the holes they made, it looks like your best option for stopping an attacker is the 12-gauge loaded with #2 shot. At least if he hasn’t taken a hostage.

Please do not educate the Libs. Do NOT educate them that the .223 isn’t the bad of a round, and that the AR15 isn’t that bad of a gun.
Make them think that by going after the .223 and the AR15 that their job is done. Make them think that every other gun and calibre is a marshmellow.
This demonstration is porn for the gun grabber. I am not even correcting people on the similarities of the .223 to the 5.56. Because I want them to only focus on one, and not the other. I want them to screw up royally.
By showing a lib a bigger hole, or pointing out that a normal rifle and an “assault” rifle is the same - All you’re going to do is make them include MORE guns in their bans. You will never get them to back off the notion.
Tell them that the .17HMR is the most dangerous round in the world, and that they should focus on just that one. These people haven’t called for banning a lot of things simply because they don’t realize the existence of other things.
Let them call all pistols Glocks and all rifles AK47s. Again, do not educate the liberal. It will only bite you in the ass.

The first part of the vid she WAS shooting a target. And not to well I might add.
I do believe she was spreading the group to demonstrate what she was there to do, show the holes that various firearms make.
one could get in depth about size of hole up close vs accuracy at range, but many people that they were trying to reach, need to look at the holes, and more importantly, to see that they are all eeevvvil semi-autos, some looking "ugly", some looking "non threatening", and that the ar with it's cosmetic features is deemed dangerous, while the 12g, while making a decent sized hole up close, is not,. I believe she does make some points here.
The sort of competition she shoots doesn’t require tight groups.
It requires that you hit a target within a “zone” or a reactive target (a popper, for example). It doesn’t matter that you hit the target in an “X” ring or inside the 9/10 ring for high scores. It is scored as “number of hits in the least amount of time.”
I’ve seen your type of shooter on IPSC and IDPA type targets, where time is the bigger factor. You lose. You can have one-hole groups... and lose at the very back of the pack.

Any hit in the “A” zones is scored the same. Doesn’t matter if you’re in the center of the zone or you just break the line at the edge. You got an “A” hit in either case.
How fast you put your rounds into that target and got onto the next target in the stage... that matters MUCH more.

Loved seeing the holes get bigger as she shot from .556 up to 12gauge with #2 shot.
Shotgun slug equals .50 cal and won’t wing your target. It will take his arm off or put a hole in him big as a door handle.
Lets not forget that all of these weapons have an effective range.

I’m sorry- but what a HORRIBLE segment- Basically the show stated “See- you shoudln’t ban AR 15 because htey leave smaller holes in people than all these other popular non assault rifles and handguns- then the show goes o nto show just how much more devestating the other guns are, and I’m sure once liberals who have never fired such weapons actually got to see the damage these other guns can inflict,. they recoiled in horror and strengthened their resolve to ban ALL guns
What the hell is wrogn with htese talk show hosts? Are they intentionalyl tryign to sabotage the right? Also the argument that ‘even a 22 caliber rifle can kill’ is a terrible argument- peopel already know guns kill- let’s not remidn them and let’s especially NOT shwo them how dangerous guns can be- remember, we’re talking about peopel who have never seen these guns beofre- The better argument is to show things liek how many people died while wating for the police to show up because they had no guns to protect themelves, arguing that we don’t need peopel to decide for us thow many bulelts we need for self defense when we are fully capable of decidign htis matter for ourselves- showing how assault rifles have helped SAVE lives (they have probalby saved far morel ives than the rare school shootings have taken lives- Explain to the public in a way htey can understand that when you are hidign in your house, with an AR 15 with large capacity, that you now don’t have the added stress of worryign abotu runnign out of buullets and trying to reload whiel highly stressed

That’s exactly the point I was tryign to make- in theirm inds, AR 15’s ‘shoot 1000’s of bullets per milisecond’ and can mow down whole cities in under 10 seconds- (they really are an ignorant lot)- keepign htem in the dark woudl have been much better- and, as you said, let them think their jobs were done- Now I think they are goign to go after all guns with a vengence-

Later, to show the weapons, she just shot a piece of tin with no aim point to show the size of the holes. I even took into consideration that she may have shot patterns to show the size of the holes, on the tin. The first target shooting, however was pretty poor.
As for me, I reload my own, have shot all my life since I was about 9, and was expert in the Army. I won NRA tournaments from about 9-12 years old with a match .22. I have made a few shots I'm proud of such as shooting a hog on full run shooting freehand standing in a field at about 120 yards. Right through the heart. I've made a couple of 500 yd shots from a stand with a rest. The one most remember about me was when I went to a friends house to shoot with my open sighted M1A. He had a Rem bull bbl. .308 with a 12x scope. He got it sighted at 300 yds and was able to hit a metal target every shot after about 7-8 shots. I threw my M1A up with my sling and shot the target and you could hear the ring. He said I bet you can't do that again, so I shot again and,...ring. They were all aghast, so I did it 3 times in a row all with open sights. He was laying down with a tripod, I was standing.
I don't pretend to be some sort of competitive shooter, but I'm no slouch either. My statement was about shooting a paper target 30 ft away. I could put 3 shots in a 2 inch circle for sure and she didn't. Yes, I have both a .45 and a 9mm, and reload for all my weapons. If you watch the TV show, you will see what I mean.
