In order to handle the demand, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office will now feature online applications on it's website. However, local gun dealers can't keep up with the demand.

Before the SHTF we need ta get ya fixed up with one of these!

I am also hearing that there are Citizens in the States that are not going to let “F” Troops enforce the new 2nd Amendment violations.....

Thanks for the ping Jim. Glad to read about the good news in Fresno. NOW let’s hear it in Riverside. Lotsa luck as the Libs have moved out here, and ruined what was a great conservative Agricultural community.

There may be hope for Callifornia, yet—despite DI-FI!

This is wonderful news!

Fresno ?

Maybe I should move. Must be a shall issue county.

Santa Clara is a May Issue and a waste of time to apply.

Well, this is a piece of good news! Two thumbs up for Sheriff Mims. I like her, always have. I am not surprised that she would take this stance. Thanks for the ping, Jim.

Our Sheriff here in Charleston County Al Cannon held a press conference yesterday and clearly said he will not enforce any law he deems unconstitutional, in fact he said it's his duty not to enforce such laws. He also did a demonstration showing that magazine capacity is a moot point when multiple lower capacity magazines can be quickly changed. He even showed how a revolver can be reloaded quickly with a speed loader.

I'm sure our mayor Joe Riley loves to hear all this as he's a member of Bloomberg's (The Mayor of America) group MAIG.

Best news I have had all day.

But I am not surprised since MM has been handing out CCW permits like candy.

True story happened yesterday:

So, I buy this Ruger 22 LR rifle from Kentucky Gun Co. over the web and I’ve been locking for one of these for two weeks, searching every gun company on the web every day. I finally found one in stock and bought it. Well, yeah, it happens to be PINK, but it’s still considered by Hussein as an “assault” rifle ‘cause it is a semiautomatic, pull the trigger and a cartridge fires - and yes, I had already bought a 25 cartridge magazine for it and have Remington 22 LR hollow point ammo coming (found some of that). So, it isn’t black but does the same thing and it’s a lovely PINK.

I had to have it sent to a gun shop so I could do the paperwork for it. I needed to go there now to do another form so they would know it is mine when it gets there and they will call me.

I hadn’t been to this gun shop before but it’s only six miles from me. I go down that wide road looking for the place thinking it’s a small shop somewhere on this road. I thought I should have found it by now, and saw a liquor store and knew that place would know where the shop was.

I go in and liquor store guy is telling me but a customer broke in and finished the directions. I looked at this fellow and knew Hussein would never get this man’s guns. This part of the highway is Texas red neck country. This fellow had scraggly hair, worn out shirt and worn out blue jeans and was missing two front teeth. No way would anyone EVER take a gun from him. He was great, God Bless Texas.

He was a typical red neck, very courteous to me (they treat women special) and explained I was one mile away from the gun shop. He said I couldn’t miss it, was on this side of the road. I thank him and am on my way. There it is, except it isn’t a small gun shop – it’s the big shooting range I knew was on this road somewhere. It’s huge with all things gun inside and men bellied up to the counter waiting for service. I just bellied up to the counter like I was one of them (heck, I was one of them mentally, so there).

There was not one rifle for sale. There was not one magazine holding more than 10 cartridges for sale. There was no hollow point ammo. Finally, my turn came and I filled out the form. The male clerk was very nice and said I had all the info. on the form and he would call me. I told him not to be surprised to see a PINK rifle. He said, “That’s great!”

Then, I left. I can say we have great red necks here who are not going to give up their guns, and a fine shooting range – all 6 miles from my house.

One of these days, Jim, you are going to show up in this great state to live. Attorney General Greg Abbott just said he will have any federal government official coming to Texas to get someone’s gun, arrested when he sets foot in Texas. Plus, we have a bill in the House to put those feds in prison for 5 years. My PINK assault rifle with its big magazine is safe. God Bless Texas.

“He even showed how a revolver can be reloaded quickly with a speed loader.”

I have two speed loaders for my Ruger 38 special, plus it has a red laser - I am not going to miss with that gun.

Add Missouri to the List of states whose legislature is trying to stand up to the DC tyranny. We also have legislation to arrest Feds and charge them with a felony with 5 year stent in jail. Course our Governor is sure to veto, and then we will have to pass it again.

Yes, I read about Missouri today. Oklahoma also has a bill to arrest the feds. Sorry you have a bad governor, that is sad to hear. I guess I thought Missouri was much like Texas. At least you have some legislators with “guts”.

Sheriff Mimms said on the radio the other day that Fresno County alone accounted for 14% of the CCW permits issued in California statewide.
