At least two American hostages are being held hostage at a gas plant in Algeria, but there's been no word on unfolding the situation from either President Barack Obama or Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

I presume you mean the Media who repeatedly shirk their duty and job when it comes to exposing faults in the Socialist party and their minions. Obama and Hillary certainly have proved time and again to be incompetent and over their heads, but a real Media would have exposed them long ago. Actually you do a discredit to swine - they are good for something (tasty bacon for one thing). The Media is better compared to a malignant cancer. Terminal if not removed from the body.
The situation is simple. The hostage-takers are racist and are only trying to make Obama look bad for his second inauguration.
Later this afternoon, Jay Carney will announce that Obama and Hillary “condemn this action in the strongest terms, that they are monitoring the situation and that they are deeply concerned,” and that’s it. Done!
Tonight, Chris Matthews will blame it on the racist angle.
Jon Stewart and Conan O’Brien will mock something Sarah Palin or Herman Cain did several years ago.
