Much like the axiom that 'experience is something you never get until just after you needed it,' an adequate number of rounds can not be determined until after the shooting stops.

Only then will you be able to determine whether or not you had enough.

My two hand guns are revolvers, have one upstairs and one downstairs so I wouldn't have many cartridges to shoot. So, I got a rifle with a 25 cartridge magazine.

Having only seven cartridges is ridiculous. Is he going to check every person who has a gun to make sure they don't put in more than 7 cartridges?

I submit this question for consideration, “How many enemies of the US, foreign or domestic, criminals and/or tyrants may I shoot before I must reload and how rapidly can I shoot them?”

Answer: As many rounds as it takes untill victory is won.
