SALT LAKE CITY - A book about a lesbian couple raising children has returned to a Utah school district's library shelves, amid a lawsuit from the American Civil Liberties Union.
Officials with the ACLU of Utah say they were informed of the district's decision Monday, two months after the suit was filed.

so...a small minority of lesbian women who have children get a “special” book placed back in the school system - but the large majority (Christian) have their book (Bible) taken out...uh...as Prince once said, “something does not compute...”
That picture makes me think about “Downfall” — I imagine the bald guy on the right is saying, “Mein Fuhrer ... Steiner ... Steiner did not carry out his attack.”
We had a similar controversy about a similar book way back when I was in school. Of course, the ACLU got involved, but us kids solved the problem by making the book disappear a few pages at a time.
Are you talking about the New Jersey teacher who was fired for giving a student a pocket New Testament, which the student asked for? I’m sure the ACLU will be running to his defense. Any minute. Wait for it.
That’s kind of what I was thinking, eventually they’ll get tired of replacing it.
Kids will be kids after all.

Hey, here you go. Write a story about My Two Mommies Read The Bible And Decided To Find My Dad and Help Me Be With My Daddy, and then have it printed up at a self-publishing company (see Amazon.com) with the spine being an exact copy of the Lesbian book in question and place it on the shelf next to the Lesbian book in question.

But the God of the world who creates the universe and everythign in it, and who blessses the nations who worship Him, doesn’t have hte right to be mentioned, or have His book prominently on display AS IT SHOULD BE by the school
The irony is that the God of supreme tolorance and patience and forgiveness is beign kicked out by public officials who have set themselves up as the arbitors of tolorance (without nmercy or forgiveness).

I don’t see that happneing, I see the school protectign hte book at all costs, and prosecuting anyone that defaces it- while of course at the same time allowing anyoen who wants to to deface any bibles that may be present i nthe school

My Two Mommies Read The Bible, and hte holy spirit showed them that their sin was an abomination in the sight of the Lord, and my Two mommies realized that they were NOT born gay, , but just loved livign in sin and forcing everyoen to agree with their sin and condone their actions, and came to realize that the word ‘abomination’ is a seriosu an offence agaisnt God as can be made and then they wept and asked God to forgive them, and Christ to come into their hearts And then they Decided To obwey God and renounce hteir sin, and to go out and Find My Dad and Help Me Be With My Daddy
