Same with Rice. Same with several other 'idolic' names. Ironically, several of them even started out in the 2012 primary, and several of them will be back in 2016 for another try.

Pubbies and many on FR were so desperate in 2012 for a candidate that they were just throwing names against the wall to see if any would stick. None did. So, the Pubbies got Romney.
