China Warns Citizens To 'Prepare For The Worst' As It Sends Fighters To East China Sea

After repeatedly flying surveillance aircraft into disputed airspace with Japan, and Tokyo scrambling F-15s in response, China's now sending fighters of its own on "routine flights" into the East China Sea.

China Daily:

A Foreign Ministry spokesman said Friday that Chinese military planes were on"routine flights" in relevant airspace over the East China Sea. Spokesman Hong Lei made the remarks at a press briefing in response to media reports that Japan sent fighter jets to head off a number of Chinese military planes spotted in Japan's "air defense identification zone" over the East China Sea on Thursday.

"China firmly opposes Japan's moves to gratuitously escalate the situation and create tensions," Hong said.

The area north of the Japanese-controlled Senkaku islands, known as the Diaoyus in China, is reportedly home to billions in oil and gas deposits claimed both by Japan and China.

We need to go in there with a stealth bomber and just blow those islet away

Because in the fevered neocon mind, reckless militarism is the default solution to every foreign policy problem.

"...I guess the statement that we have treaty obligations, but no one expects us to go to war to defend Japan, is just like we have borders, citizenship, etc but no one expects us to do a damn thing about illegal citizens of other countries walking in here.

Or we have a Constitution but not when it gets in the way of Obamacare or gun confiscation, or religious freedom..."

Or, like Chrysler secured-bond holders who were steamrolled into accepting 29 cents on the dollar for their loans. Meanwhile, the underfunded pension plans of the United Auto Workers — unsecured creditors, but possessed of better political connections — received more than 40 cents on the dollar.

The rule of law means nothing, absolutely nothing to liberals and Marxists. With this piece of crap in office, our allies are on their own regardless of any treaty obligations, as are any US citizens who presume that the law of the republic will offer them any kind of protection or recourse

Buckle up, folks. It is going to get bumpy in the near future.

China could probably whip all those countries if the US stayed out of it. That is the problem, we have pretty much funded their military through borrowing.

Is this all saber rattling or is war looming? When America is weak—the world become a more dangerous place. Obama doesn’t know—he was never trained at the Great Game. This means he will stay neutral is such a war just as he does with Syria and Iran.

It’s not the islets it’s the economic zones which reach
out 200 miles from them, could be as much as 200,000 sq
miles or more of minerals and oil.

The nature of this distraction would almost have to be the loss of a significant, tangible asset for China.

You wouldn't be hinting at the floating 'casino' would you?

Do NOT count the Japanese out.

A few years ago, the defense minister, (I’m sorry, I cannot remember his name or the year, it was recent.) declared that. “If on Monday, Japan decides to build an atomic bomb, we would have it by Friday.”

The only people who caught that were the chinese, who went ballistic.

Truth is Japan has all the INGREDIENTS at their disposal, they are just labeled under “civilian peaceful purposes.” They have hidden behind Article 9 for years as a ruse.

The chinese know that truth. Its why it upset them so badly.

If china moves on Japanese space militarily, Article 9 will be swept aside in half a day, and Japan will harness its “parallel” technology in a heartbeat.

Japanese militarism isn’t that far beneath the surface, count on it.

Japan will kick ass against the 30 IQ ChiComm apes. The ChiComm morons crashed 20 planes below the waterline when they were trying aircraft landings. The ChiComm monkeys have one pilot who landed on the carrier and walked away.

Long live Mao, morons.
