Snowed in Portland this morning but only in the hills and gone ....for now.

I’m happy as long as we don’t have ice.

I was talking to a cashier several days ago about how it seemed like spring time as the weather was so nice. I said it could just as easy be -30.

That is the current forecast for this coming Sunday due to a system moving up from the states.

And that is what Brrrrrrr.... is really all about.

wish it was going to be in the high 60s at least but they are calling for mid to low 50s!

We are experiencing changes in 'normal' weather patterns world wide. Jerusalem just had 8 inches of snow.

This is due to more shifts in the JET STREAM. (the jet stream is one of the main sources of large scale weather patterns). HAARP is an attempt to alter the Jet Stream (and ergo local weather) but it has proven to be unpredictable, and tends to be self-correcting dependent on the magnetic field being stable.

The Jet Stream is fluctuating because of changes in the magnetic field. Scientists haven't dealt with this issue yet, but this large 'river' of wind responds to changes in the magnetic field. The magnetic field of the Earth is always changing, but it may be getting ready to 'flipflop'. It does this periodically throughout the eons. The changes will cause altered growing seasons worldwide, which will interrupt food production. Food, and land to grow food on, and land to be isolated from the hordes of starving hordes will be the premium, and our dear leaders are absconding with as much of the 'real estate' as they can.

This whole GLOBAL WARMING HYPE is because the scientists who advise the leaders of our world have forecast what would happen as a result, and it doesn't look good. Again, this happens periodically, so it's not like it's the end of the world. We could be planning ahead, and providing ways to ensure the food that is grown is distributed efficiently and fairly, so that the most human beings (and animals for that matter) survive. But we don't do that now, and they don't plan to worry about it then. The 'leaders' will just point fingers at everyone else, as they always do, while they sit in seclusion with full bellies.

Anyway, the leaders are all STEALING whatever they can from the peons, because they know this is coming, and is inevitable, and that only those with lots and lots of 'resources' will survive unscathed.

The 'haves' will live, the 'have nots' will die. WHEN the magnetic field will 'flip' , no one knows. But they see it coming.

Of all the 'catastrophes' that could occur (supervolcano, tsunami, earthquake, asteroid strike, Solar flare, etc), a massive drop in food production and distribution will cause much more chaos and death.

Oil, fracking, and C02 have nothing to do with the changes we are having. AL-Gore plans to be one of the 'survivors', no matter how many dead people he has to stand on. If he told the truth now, no one would give him any money.

There are times at the same of year when its actually warmer in Anchorage Alaska than Florida or California.
I may see 40 and 50 degree temps in the next couple of days and rain.

I'm renting a room in San Diego so I can work a contract. Home is in Idaho. My housemates/landlords leave the doors and windows open. The house is going to get damn cold as we are forecast to drop in the 27 to 32 range tonight and tomorrow night. I run an electric oil-filled radiator inside my 10 x 14 room. The morning shower is much like camping in the mountains. Damn cold. The bathroom window is open. I'll have to watch for ice in the tub. Much fun. Meanwhile, temps will drop below zero at home in Idaho and the house will be perfectly comfortable.

Red Bob is an embarrassment. He's off on a bad foot with the city council. The blind leading the blind and at odds with each other.

It is cold up here in wino country. A younger friend in the wine business said this morning, many of their computer temp monitors in their vineyards were showing temps as low as the mid 20’ and no vineyard above 32.

It’s beautiful and sunny and cold here at the beach, with about 7 peaks covered with snow in view out my east windows. Love snuggling inside with a fire on, or bundling up with the kids outside. It’s fun to have a little winter in LA.
