Beck’s idea makes sense if you add one component; have a group like the NRA be ready to file a lawsuit against the government for each and every arrest. Use each arrest as a way to challenge the legality of the law. Overwhelm the government with lawsuits against it.

In my opinion, they’d make an example of a few ‘regular Joe’s’ as per your analysis (fines, felony conviction, etc.) and publicize with the Obamamedia/Dem spin machine, something they are very good at .... many folks would give up their guns after that. It won’t be a mass confiscation ... they’ll pick some good, decent, mainstream folks and as I said, make horrific examples of them ... “THIS could happen to YOU”.

Glenn is essentially saying that there are more gun owners than the justice system can process and imprison. He is saying to overwhlem the system and in a peaceful manner knowing that we have the law on our side.

He is desperately afraid of any sort of violent conflict, because he believes such a conflict favors the side of tyranny.

He may be right on that, but I am not going to go to prison because I obeyed the constitution.

I’m not going to put my fate in the hands of John Roberts.

I’m not going to pay lawyers.

I am simply not going to give in to tyranny. Come Hell or high water, or death.

It’s dangerous to only half-listen some times.

Was he doing one of his very sarcastic pieces?

Several times, I’ve thought, “I hope there aren’t any 1st-time listeners out there!” because, as a watcher/listener, I KNOW he’s taking a 180 position to show some absudity.

I’m growing weary of Beck’s sanity. The man has gathered millions of dollars and followers, and he’s advocating what might be best for his family given the situation. I’d like to see the ATF agents make it up his driveway past the gate after ringing at the video console. If it were me, I’d never let them past that point. End of story.

Watch the news carefully. The government thugs aren’t stupid and they know that another Waco or Ruby Ridge under this administration’s watch will set off a firestorm of backlash. The Internet media, blogs, etc. were non-existent back in the 1990s. Nowadays EVERYONE has cameras and microphones, and they can be used to defend a person and upload government thuggery to the Internet quicker than those agents can rifle through your belongings.

Also, Beck has plenty of money to afford exorbitant bail. And make no mistake that the government will make bail unaffordable for a majority of Americans.

I’m sorry and sad to say that the only defense against this type of tyranny is an offense against the thugs who try to enforce it. At some point the enforcer numbers will dwindle and no one is going to volunteer to become target practice for a militia of volunteer riflemen.

I guess Beck doesn’t go for the Alex Jones/Jesse Ventura bit about the build-up of citizen confinement centers throughout the US. If those guys are right in their view, filling up facilities would be the feds’ last worry.

I didn’t listen to Beck today. From what you describe it sounds like he is advocating some type of Cloward-Piven type strategy where the system is overwhelmed and implodes.

I see how C-P could work with our economic system, we’re experiencing Obama’s attempt of it now.

But applying it to our justice system seems like a very dangerous proposition. If that’s what Beck is preaching, he needs to back off and think about what he’s saying.

Will Beck and Tanya being heading to jail also? Somehow, I am thinking not.

He'll be on air with those two assclown sidekicks of his, making fun of Alex Jones and other people he deems as "whackos".

I agree with your analysis of Beck’s idea. The gummint doesn’t have to imprison you to ruin your life, and that’s really what it’s all about: Ruining people who resist. High fines, lawyer costs, and paying through the nose for probation, in the end you are a felon so no good jobs for the rest of your life.

Beck can sometimes be a major league blowhard, and if he’s suggesting people actually do this, he’s being a dangerous-to-our-health blowhard as well. This is why I quit watching his TV show: I got tired of his constant drumbeat for a stampede of the population.

Beck, like his fellow CULT MEMBER Harry Reid CANNOT BE TRUSTED.

Even well known "patriot" freeper mormons have openly admitted here on FR that when Salt Lake orders them to disarm, they will do it.

The new NSA data collection center's location in Tooele Utah should be telling.

Salt Lake will play ball, mormons will disarm when their "prophet" tells them to, and then they will turn on those of us who don't.

I don’t think Obama or any of his followers would say, “oh dear! We’re ruining people’s lives and bankrupting the country on this tyrannical path. Maybe we should follow the Constitution.” My guess is that they would celebrate every ruined life, every union prison guard position created, and and every innocent patriot behind bars who got raped by Bubba.

The problem is that once you surrender to the criminal justice system, you can’t ever get out of it.

On the other hand they could by executive order take you to re-education camps in the Southwest as has been recommended by bill ayers and bernedette dohrn, where 25 to 30 million will be found to be un-educatable and will have to be eliminated. I don’t believe they would have a problem if it were to run 50 to 60 million, except of course the mechanics of killing and disposing on such a large scale.

One thing that bothers me about the democrats anxiety to deprive me of firearms is all the liberals I see wearing che t-shirts and those in the obama administration who go around quoting chairman mao, and those czars who have written books on or otherwise endorse population control. I believe one of the criteria for population control will be those who don’t support them.

Beck assumes our opponent is honorable and follows the rules.

This assumes facts not in evidence.

To resist with force in numbers would guarantee that we lose. .

The Founding Fathers who went up against the world's Dominant Empire of the time frown upon that conclusion.

If the Feds come to my door to ask about gun possession, they'll be there awhile, because I don't answer the door.

If you want to see me, you'd better call first, or scream loudly, if it's an emergency.

There is not going to be any large-scale gun confiscation.

What's going on now is more psyops than anything else; an attempt to demonize gun owners in popular consciousness.

But it reeks of desperation more than anything else. This push is 100% elite media/govt driven. I think they realize they've lost the gun debate with the American people.

If there is some kind of gun registry effort, and Americans comply with it to any greater degree than they did in Canada, we deserve our chains.
