I agree with the sentiment but very few people have the wherewithal to possess a CCW and follow-up on it.

Let’s face it: most people aren’t comfortable with guns and even less so with having them on their their person. Mrs. FD is a great Conservative but I still can’t get her to the gun range, much less CCW classes.

Not in my experience.

I still can’t get her to the gun range, much less CCW classes.

I guess I am lucky. My wife has conceal carried for years and bought a Marlin 45.70 lever gun because "it is pretty."
