During his State of the State address on Wednesday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo made an impassioned plea to the Legislature to ignore pressure from the gun lobby and end the madness of gun violence. He sought the toughest gun laws in the nation.
He admitted he’s a gun owner himself and said he doesn’t want to stop hunters and others from owning weapons, but Cuomo tried to shame the Legislature into action with a passionate speech on gun violence, CBS 2’s Marcia Kramer reported.
“I say to you forget the extremists. It’s simple — no one hunts with an assault rifle. No one needs 10 bullets to kill a deer and too many people have died already,” Cuomo said.

Has anyone stopped to think how many of these guys who did the last few mass shootings were whacked out on anti-depressants or other mind altering medications? It’s been a few, hasn’t it?
The liberals should be investigating the medical profession who prescribe the drugs and the pharmaceutical industry who produce them. After all these drugs are probably so strong it’s making these people, who are already deranged, into mass killers. I’m being facetious but don’t be shocked if the lefties aren’t going after them next because it’s big medicine and big pharmaceutical with their deep pockets.

I normally only need one BUT that is not the Point is it? It pains me again to have to write what we all know and I’m sure cuomo knows, The Second Amendment is NOT about DEER HUNTING.
I'm an example. Born and bred in New York, solid top-of-the-line computer developer. Left New York when Hillary was elected. That was the last straw. I saw the handwriting on the wall. Headed first for (bad decision) Illinois to be married, then hightailed it fast to Georgia as soon as it was clear that wasn't working out.
Cuomo is a political opportunist. He’s making a lot of noise about gun control to advance his political career. He wants to run for President in 2016. This junk may play well in New York, but it won’t work where I live.
the upside of this is that his hopes to be president are over. He ended his political career today at 1:30 PM.
It’s not playing very well in NY either. Gun shops sold out of semi-auto rifles. My local guy had 4 Mosin Nagants Sat but I had to wait til payday (today.) All four were gone. Bummed!! Grabbed a bunch of ammo instead, and my guy has .223!!!

Millionaire “chef” (Sandra)Lee shares a home with Cuomo in Westchester County where this holiday she reportedly decorated seven Christmas trees. As for marriage, the pair seem in no hurry, as she told the New York Post Monday.
“I think when it’s important to the kids, we’ll do it. Right now we have much more important things to do.”
