Mom shot 6 time ex-convict intruder with all the bullets of her 38, yet he was still able to get up after she ran out of bullets. What if it was more than one intruder? Maybe limiting ammunition capacity is actually better for the criminals and not their victims after all...

Their approach to all this is criminal. The gun was the equalizer here. Why did the guy seek her and the kids out?
If Obama’s gun control was in place we’d be reading about a violent rape and triple murder with a suspect at large.
Liberalism is anti-human.
MIGHT have been? I'd say it would've been darn likely.
That FMJ stuff is all most walmarts carry. It is a lightly loaded round, but at least she had good shot placement. 5 out of 6 COM under high stress is better than most cops can do.
5 out of 6 in a dark crawlspace. Good shooting!
The bad guy escaped and is still alive as of that video. She was out of ammo apparently. What if there was more than one bad guy? She'd be SOL. What if it was a gang? She would have needed what the fiends want to ban!
The video is at the source. It needs to go viral!
She needs some hollowpoint +P loads.
Literally every story I read, where the good guy (gal) shoots, the 2nd perp always runs away. They don't volunteer for lead duty.
Oh, s***-the gun I keep closest is a .38-had no idea it was that survivable. That is fine shooting in the dark, though.
Five rounds in the face and body from a .38 and hes still alive?
If only she'd had my 12 gauge Remington 870 TaC X with a half dozen slugs this story could've had a happy ending.
Maybe she and her husband should consider a semi-auto, more rounds are always good. I have the feeling she could handle it just fine.
did every bullet actually connect with the thug?
Some folks just don’t ‘grok’ a semi-auto, but do just fine with a revolver. Concur on the ammo upgrade.
Check the video at the source. Something happened at my end. I don't have time to watch it again.
Totally agree. A .357mag is hard to beat. Practice with cheap .38 wad cutters and load up at home with .375 Glasser safety slugs or hollow point mags.
"Now, if shed have had a Taurus Judge with .410 rounds in there, this story would have had that warm awww bit at the end that the perp died from the 28 pellets embedded in his face and body."
I've read some good ballistic reviews on the Taurus using high end 3" .410 rounds. I wouldn't want to be on the business end of it.
Or, someone may want to use an FN Five Seven with a laser sight and 20 rounds of high end 5.7 x 28mm ammo:

Your method is exactly the same as mine except that you forgot the snap caps for practicing drawing and trigger control.
I like it! Better than dry firing. The caps will help to overcome any flinching (I'm sure I flinch with my Smith .44 mag).
Jeepers...
Yes, it does neverdem. Thanks for this very important ping.
They are going to divide us between those who will register from those who wont
Those who will comply with bullet limits from the handicapped who cannot because they cannot afford to reload every 5 seconds
from mothers who cannot afford using a bolt action and need a semi auto.
Check it out, the age of chivalry is gone. We cannot organize anything against this “POLICE TERROR STATE” by installment.
INterestingly, the only law out there which would be legal to cosmetically (and not functionaly) differentiate the weapons of LE from non LE because of uniform vs. civilian discrimination compliance are not even on the books.
Leftism is defining the uniform on who has a weapon while being in civies.
It is fascism pure and simple, with deceit and terrorism.
You do not know who is the fascist and the cop in your midst.
