On Tuesday morning, commentary on the broadcast of the Bowl Championship Series national title game between Alabama and Notre Dame included words like creepy, awkward, uncomfortable and heteronormative.
The subject was not Alabamas 42-14 victory, but comments made during the game by the ESPN play-by-play announcer Brent Musburger regarding the girlfriend of Alabama quarterback A J McCarron. In the first quarter, ESPN showed McCarrons girlfriend, Katherine Webb, who was sitting near his parents. Musburger called the 23-year-old Webb, a former Miss Alabama, a lovely lady and beautiful, and said to his broadcast partner, Kirk Herbstreit, a former quarterback at Ohio State, You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women.

In order to attain her you have to be an obamatron.
Is the converse true? Do all the good-looking women get quarterbacks?
Perhaps a more important observation would be to question if there are enough quarterbacks for all good-looking women or are there enough good-looking women for all the quarterbacks.
My observations indicate that successful men get the good-looking women or good-looking women get the successful men.
Athletes are handsomely rewarded in terms of finances and fame and with that comes the increased attraction to and by women especially famous and/or pretty types. It isn't limited to QBs. Just a couple of many examples: Mike Modano, one of the best hockey players in recent years, was (or is) married to an actress:
