The Left's battle against "Zero Dark Thirty" continues, but this time the Oscar-winning director of the film is being called far worse than an apologist for "torture." A trio of senators previously critiqued the minds behind the movie, detailing the hunt for Osama bin Laden, for daring to suggested enhanced interrogation tactics helped nab the terrorist leader.
Now, progressive critic Naomi Wolf is comparing Bigelow to the Nazis' premier propagandist.
In a time of darkness in America, you are being feted by Hollywood, and hailed by major media. But to me, the path your career has now taken reminds of no one so much as that other female film pioneer who became, eventually, an apologist for evil: Leni Riefenstahl. Riefenstahl's 1935 Triumph of the Will, which glorified Nazi military power, was a massive hit in Germany. Riefenstahl was the first female film director to be hailed worldwide....Like Riefenstahl, you are a great artist. But now you will be remembered forever as torture's handmaiden.

Lighten up Naomi. Take a deep breath and try to relax.
1. I won’t go see this movie.
2. Read “No Easy Day” instead (I did)
Who? I’m pretty familiar with Leni Whatshisname but where did this Naomi person come from?
She’s just upset that the film does not portray Obama as bringing bin Laden to justice by offering him milk and cookies.
Stick with giving fashion advice, Wolf.
Very strange. During the campaign, Obama was boasting about the Obama capture (although he clearly had next to nothing to do with it, and had actually halted them once before, IIRC), but now it seems to have been dropped into the Obama Memory Hole and now it’s all the EEEEEVIL GEORGE BUSH.
It’s good to be hated by the right people.
I absolutely hated “Hurt Locker.” This one certainly can’t be any worse.
Naomi Wolf is the Sandra Fluke of her generation.
Let’s hope such a disgruntled lesbian as Wolfe is never put in charge of US foreign affairs. Oops too late.
Trying to make herself look intellectual. Epic fail.
She’s a feminist, but I don’t find anything about her being a lesbian.
She does, however, sound like a POS.
These leftists never stop whining.
Who gets the roll of Hitler?
Riefenstahl was one of the greatest filmmakers of all time. To be compared to her should be a great complement.
It must be good if she hates it this much
It’s Bush’s fault that we had the information with which to take out Bin Laden.
