What drama: Bachmann, Garrett, Blackburn wait till LAST MIN to cast vote for Boehner, bring the vote from 17 defections down at final second— Robert Costa (@robertcostaNRO) January 3, 2013
I had trouble stomaching MB on various Fox programs night after night during election
I understand the republican party platform is being revised to a simple “B O H I C A”.
Maybe that is not painful to you. Some of us have objections.
OR howbout one of these
IF IT FEELS GOOD DO IT. or ANYTHING SOFT
I used to throw these out for Democrat platform themes, but maybe the GOP
You have made excellent points, ones that I had to consider for some time.
Thank you.
Sometimes friendship taints good judgement???
They can’t be so stupid as to believe they’ll actually get Hispanic votes. So that means they’re in on the scam with the democrats. They love their perks too much.
As for democrats winning because of a third party, if the conservative voters would have voted for the third party instead of rinos, the third party would have won. Why is it the third party always has to move to the republicans?
.
“We must be better than the democrats!”
“We must be purer Conservatives than Ronald Reagan!”
- Great how that has been working out so well!
.
Amen brother. AMEN.
And before anyone takes offense, for the record, I was out fighting well before most of you were born and I’m 1) running out of gas and 2) running out of hope. I don’t recognize America anymore.
I never thought I ‘d ever see this day.
How do you figure? 51% Obama 47% Romney. All third party 1.75. Your math seems off.
I’ve been saying for weeks that Bachmann was on the tank. She and othe Tea Party members let Borhner punish the conservative committee members. Then they put no pressure on Boehner in the tax and spend showdown. This proves that the 151 GOP members who supposedly opposed the tax sell-out actually supported it. They were permitted to vote NO but they got their 30 pieces of silver behind closed doors.
If enough other fellow conservatives are like you, willing to declare that a vote against Boehner for Speaker (which by default == a vote for Pelosi) is one of their sacred Core Principles, central to their very existence, chiseled into the stone tablet over their fireplace, and furthermore that those who supported Boehner are supporting Tyranny (Boehner = Tyranny, Pelosi = Poster Child for Anti-Tyranny?), then God help us!!
I see you haven’t changed - still the accuser when it shown what you really are with your liberal tactics and your posts.
It’s a new year - grow up and realize your mask if off.
Well I pretty much agree with what you say. Bachmann and Boehner have always been close though. I suggest you watch Boehner’s speech on Obamacare. She was right next to him. It is not recent. Of course members were released. Many voted after bill had passed, (cantor being one).
The whole party and yes even the tea party screwed this one up. Last year we could have had 8-1. This year one to one. What did we get? United we stand, dived........well you know the rest.
Can you mind stretch enough that the GOP should have supported someone other than Boehner? He has done nothing and the GOP seem content with that, like they were with Romney. You seemed so conditioned to vote against someone. Others have surpassed you. You have the AB..mindset. Turn in your card. You need to learn conservatism before you can claim it.
Thank God I didn’t watch it to spare myself of her con job. She was hoping no one noticed her act of betrayal during the primaries. Her supporters are dazzled with her BS and unable to ‘watch’ her actions because they are blinded. They are not political savvy but useful fools. She’s fork tongue all the way - NOT solid.
It’s all about their ‘careers’ with no mindset of being a servant to us and for America. Ego before America. And we know pride comes before the fall that we are already witnessing.
So you split the vote and Nancy Pelosi wins the Speakership....
that is why they voted for Boner.
anything else is cutting off ones nose to spite ones face.
what the Republicans needed to do was to vote amongst themselves to pick a leader then stand by that in the whole house vote. perhaps that is what they did.
I think their perspective involved any candidate to replace Boehner. No one was willing to take the job. At least, they weren’t willing to go public.
Bachman, herself, would have been one of the possibilities. Others possibilities: Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, and Darrell Issa.
None stepped forward.
Yadda, yadda, yadda.....We heard the same illogical threats made by your kind to intimidate a vote for McLame and then again this year for Romney.
We will hear it again from your kind when the time comes to intimidate a vote for Lindsey Graham as the nominee in 2016. He will be touted as the only one who can beat Obama.
Also, God has no reason to help us. We sat on our hands while society threw Him out of it.
Leave me the f alone you stalker!
Exactly. She lied through her teeth about Perry and never went after Romney.
