IF the RNC and the "congressional Republicans" had any cajones they would run 1000 TV commercials on CNN, MSNBC, the major networks and all the channels down the radio dial - "The President developed the "fiscal cliff" idea before the last election, we thought you wanted a change and would never reelct someone so reckless, but he won and now he and you get what you wanted."
A few people will get the message, especially the ones lsoing their unemployment benefits and the Obambi phones.

Good. When you sell your principles and integrity, it immediately becomes worthless.

If a Republican was president, the corrupt media would be heaping blame on him for lack of leadership and inability to work with congress. Yet Obama is rarely if ever mentioned, as if he’s somehow not involved in the process.

Who cares? Rules, and the rule of law is only for pubbies - and they’re decidedly not in the drivers seat. The left is making it up as they go along so count on them to magically find some extenuating circumstances to make it “all better” (AKA get their way).

Congress should not vote on anything until the new members are seated. No serious legislation should occur in a lame duck session
