Senior Senate Republican aides tell NRO that the tax side of the fiscal-cliff deal has been finalized. Heres a sketch of the framework:
Current tax rates would be permanently extended for singles making $400,000 or below, and permanently extended for couples making $450,000 or below
For singles, capital gains and dividends of $400,000 or below would be permanently taxed at 15 percent; capital gains and dividends above $400,000 would be permanently taxed at 20 percent

This deal and about four bucks might get you a cup of coffee at Starbucks.....
I don’t see it making the big time, though.
If the house votes for it vote them all out
Also there’s supposed to be a 3 day rule. What are they hiding
>> True or not true
Of course it’s true. You know it’s true because it’s from an unnamed source who spoke off the record because they aren’t authorized to speak about the issue.
Meet the new year
Same as the old year
won’t get fooled again
According to the timestamp, the article is about an hour and a half old.
And the spending cuts get kicked down the road....again!
The House Rinos and Rats will pass this bill.
Ok by me, as it will expose a lot of Rinos.
Yes it got kicked down the road but this country just elected a president that will not budge on spending in a way that is to our liking. That being said, I pay tens of thousands in federal taxes as it is and am glad that the rates will not go up with this agreement. I can’t afford it.
“And the spending cuts get kicked down the road....again!”
Exactly. Haven’t seen anything about any CUTS!
Only $400,000. To add insult to injury, your spouse (man or wife, or ‘significant-life-partner-now-married) is worth but a paltry $50,000 more. Beyond those numbers you are just a brood mare, a less-than-golden goose.
If you are referring to the Sequestration cuts, that is not stated in the linked article, nor can I find any news source that confirms that. We all know Entitlement reform is off the table - that was yesterday's news. However, every single new source I have read has said that the Democrats get every goodie they wanted, from unemployment billions for the layabouts, to tuition breaks for the "poor", to new taxes, but nothing about preventing the gutting of the Dept of Defense.
Go listen to the 'Evil One's news presser. He said they dealt with spending LAST YEAR and THIS DEAL will now affect the TAX SIDE.
And any FUTURE SPENDING CUT's will need to include TAX INCREASES as well.
He truly is Satan ...
What’s the typical food-producing farm worth, including acreage? If over $5 million, the estate tax would pretty much make it impossible for farms to be kept in the family. Hey, wait a minute.. That could be a goal of Agenda 21: To get farms out of the hands of private citizens or families and INTO the hands of the government or their operatives!
“Here’s the deal: you get everything you want, and we get nothing. Does that work for you? Hey world - we came to an agreement! Yay us!”
call them , tell them not to vote for this nor any deal , go over the news media stupid cliff:
