President Obama on Sunday said he would make gun control a priority in his new term, pledging to put his “full weight” behind passing new restrictions on firearms in 2013.
“I'm going to be putting forward a package and I'm going to be putting my full weight behind it,” said Obama in an interview aired on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “I'm going to be making an argument to the American people about why this is important and why we have to do everything we can to make sure that something like what happened at Sandy Hook Elementary does not happen again.”

Pretty much knew if Obozo won the election (still stunned!), he would push Obozo-care, cap and trade, unilateral nuke arms reduction, amnesty for illegals, gun ban, attack on Christianity and much more.

2014 elections are coming and I think conservatives, who either chose to not vote or voted for an alternate candidate, will not make the same mistake twice.

I wouldn't disagree -- but Zero's position is to require that sane law abiding citizens live in a cage, and allow the mentally ill and criminals free rein.
He wants to disarm the American Public so his Ton Ton Macoutes in his “Civilian Defense Force” have free rein on enforcing his extra-constitutional edicts without worrying about messy little things like “that governments are instituted among men deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, whenever a government becomes destructive of those ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it..” U.S. Declaration of Independence.
Besides, that was written by a bunch of old white slave-owners 200 years ago and has no relevance in today’s enlightened socialist paradise.

If Obama is making gun control a priority, what are the chances of this turning our like some of his other priorities?
His #1 priority was jobs and look how that turned out. He was laser focused on the economy and that turned out just as good. They worked hard getting move vegetables and they were beaten back by a bunch of kids.
But then again, like Obamacare, he really wants it. He might actually try with full effort unlike his other #1 priorities.
Personally, I don’t know why anyone that even utters controlling guns isn’t immediately charged with violating the constitutional rights of citizens and jailed.
If he thinks he can win, I say BRING IT!
No, the people who reelected him will never regret it. They hate America just as much as he does. The more Obama can stick it to us the more popular he will be with the worthless class.
No doubt. No one at any level of government has our interests in mind. Rush is right. We serve them. Beside massive fraud, there really is just one party. Pray.

but I do wish the three million missing conservatives, and the three million conservative voters, who voted for the alternate candidates, had reconsidered their actions.
It will be ineffective. Most “big cities” have very strict gun control already. Passing another gun law will do little or nothing except make everyone feel good that they “did something.”
