No. It is up to the party to nominate a candidate that appeals to the greatest number of base voters.

It isn’t up to voters to put aside their convictions to support any lame candidate.

The GOPe did the opposite, actively opposing many and fighting for RINOmney. I’m willing to bet they learned nothing.
