On Thursday Congressman Ted Poe (R-TX) criticized the Obama administration for sending twenty F-16 fighter jets to the new Muslim Brotherhood-dominated Egyptian government.
"It is reckless and unwise for the U.S. to give F-16s to Egypt and its new president/dictator, controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood," Poe explained. "This extremist group is notoriously anti-American and anti-Israel. The United States should not be arming a country ruled by a group that has the destruction of Israel in its charter."

You beat me to it. Having the hardware and being able to use it to the limits of its design are 2 different things.
If regular EAF pilots are flying them, they will seek asylum and land. If MBs are flying them they will be nothing but targets.
Wanna guess what the ROEs will be for IAF fighters and missile batteries when these planes are spotted approaching Israeli airspace or ships in the Med?

I looked into this a little and asked a super tech in military about F-10’s....he told F-10’s are crappy planes. When I said they were new....he said they wouldn’t have our latest technology. He didn’t think it was a big deal-—and he’s no fan of Obama.

I don’t understand for the life of me why any country would give away the technology it spent billions to develop so that it could be the unmatched military power in the world. Thus forcing it to spend even more to stay ahead. One advancement in military technology can keep a country on top for a 1,000 years if the secret is kept to itself. History is full of examples.
