The White House Thursday botched a written statement honoring the 1991 Gulf War hero General Norman Schwarzkopf, having to upgrade it from a statement by the press secretary to one by the president.(Snip)While the nation and the Schwarzkopf family were surely gratified to have Jay Carney honor General Schwarzkopf on their behalf, someone in the White House with a decent sense of history or just a decent sense of propriety must have belatedly realized that the man who cleared Saddam Hussein out of Kuwait and gave the United States victory in war deserved a mention

What a friggin’ scumbag.
He really doesn’t have a clue and frankly, I don’t think he gives a damn. It’s only about HIM!
Do we have any evidence Bronco knew who GNS even WAS before someone told him?
Seriously?
I’m sure we’ll be entertained to find out what circumstance Obama was in during Stormin’ Norman’s career.
It IS about him!
Let's talk about me.
Its the islam thing that Obama cherishes. Schwarzkopf was a very effective man and wanted to protect the America we had, pre -obama, thus obama detests the man.
President Super Fly couldn’t care less about anything regarding the good general. He has far more important things to do such as playing another round of golf.
I don’t really think this stuff is done accidentally.
I think it is probably wrong to call this a “botch”.
Obama is the guy who scratches his cheek with his middle finger while facing his opponent and while he knows the camera is on him.
He sends messages.
I highly doubt it. That pertains to icky war stuff that took place before Obama descended from the heavens to lead us to the promised land of communism.
If you liked the way they handled this Press Release on the death of General Schwarzkopf, you’ll love how they handle your health care.
Does this mean that Mr. Soetoro will finally visit Normandy in June, maybe timing it for a shopping spree in Paris for Michelle and the daughters?
Exactly. He'll mumble some praise-like words to the veterans whose climb up the bluffs at Pointe du Hoc enabled him to go to Harvard. Then Obama will seque onto talking points about how he supports veterans' benefit programs over the protests of the hateful "Nazis" masquerading as Republicans.
I can’t read it. Same as how I can’t look at pictures of the faces of the Conn. victims. Same thing.
I’m sure your summary is perfect.
And anyone who thinks Dark Helmet (that’s our new nickname for “him” after watching Mel Brooks’ “Spaceballs”) flubs anything accidentally is part of the problem.
Happy New Year.
“Obama vs The US Military”
Not “inclusive” enough.
Try: owebama vs. the USA
