~Favorite Walk or Walking Songs ~
Pantera Walk
Can't you see I'm easily bothered by persistence One step from lashing out at you... You want in to get under my skin And call yourself a friend I've got more friends like you What do I do?
[Pre] Is there no standard anymore? What it takes, who I am, where I've been Belong You can't be something you're not Be yourself, by yourself Stay away from me A lesson learned in life Known from the dawn of time
[Chorus] Respect, walk
Run your mouth when I'm not around It's easy to achieve You cry to weak friends that sympathize Can you hear the violins playing you song? Those same friends tell me your every word
[Chorus]
Are you talking to me? No way punk

Patsy Cline - Walkin' After Midnight
I go out walkin' after midnight Out in the moonlight, just like we used to do I'm always walkin' after midnight Searchin' for you
I walk for miles along the highway Well, that's just my way of sayin' I love you I'm always walkin' after midnight Searchin' for you
I stop to see a weepin' willow Cryin' on his pillow Maybe he's cryin' for me And as the skies turn gloomy Night winds whisper to me I'm lonesome as I can be
I go out walkin' after midnight Out in the starlight, just hoping you may be Somewhere a-walkin' after midnight Searchin' for me
I stop to see a weepin' willow Cryin' on his pillow Maybe he's cryin' for me And as the skies turn gloomy Night winds whisper to me I'm lonesome as I can be
I go out walkin' after midnight Out in the starlight, just hoping you may be Somewhere a-walkin' after midnight Searchin' for me

The Trade Winds: "New York's a Lonely Town" I first heard "New York's a Lonely Town" over KRLA, the Southland's 50,000-watt rock blaster at 1110 kilocycles (not to be confused with today's KRLA, the "intelligent conservative talk radio" station at 870 kcs). KRLA played a slightly different version than the one heard in the rest of the country. For the "KRLA version" of "New York's a Lonely Town," click right here

I posted the Lou Reed video of that song with some trepidation.
Dang, you posted a LOT of suggestions. You DO know that Yoko Ono ALSO made a "song" called
"Walking on Thin Ice". It was on the "Double Fantasy" album. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SqHx5k_DlM

Bobby Comstock & the Counts: "Let's Stomp" In September, 1963, the Angels scored with My Boyfriend's Back, a song that almost begged for a response. A few weeks later, Bobby Comstock & the Counts came up with one.

First off, rest in peace, General, you were probably the last great American general we had...
and to the songs... man, you guys think of every one I thought of, and some I didn’t! Amazing.
I don’t know if I missed it, but did anyone do:
