Republican senators will refuse to confirm Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., as Secretary of State until the nation’s current top diplomat, Hillary Clinton, testifies about her handling of the Benghazi terrorist attack.
“The Senate is expected to take up Kerry’s nomination in early January, but multiple Republican senators have already said they won’t agree to a vote on Kerry’s nomination until Clinton testifies about the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi,” The Cable’s Josh Rogin notes.
Clinton backed out of testifying at a congressional hearing last week after fainting and suffering a concussion. She was the first cabinet-level official to acknowledge that terrorists played a role in the assault on the U.S. mission in Benghazi.
“For some time, al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb and other groups have launched attacks and kidnappings from northern Mali into neighboring countries,” Clinton said during a United Nations meeting in New York on September 26. “Now, with a larger safe haven and increased freedom to maneuver, terrorists are seeking to extend their reach and their networks in multiple directions. And they are working with other violent extremists to undermine the democratic transitions underway in North Africa, as we tragically saw in Benghazi,” (emphasis added).

Hillary is probably in fear for her life with what she knows about Benghazi. Her ‘staying home’ is a security measure as she doesn’t wish to become another statistic on “the list”.

The problem is that John Kerry can still be confirmed as Secretary of State no matter what Hillary does, since his confirmation requires only the approval by a Senate majority, which the Democrats have.
Although if John Kerry is not permitted to approve his own nomination and a replacement for Senate Inouye does not get appointed soon, things might get interesting.
Trash hildas chances of being elected in 16 now. Play the rats game as nasty as they do, get her up there and grill her fat @ss, get sound bites to play again and again.

Why confirm him at all? He can’t even pronounce Ghengis Khan properly.
It’s a good move. But probably the only thing that could get Hillary to recover from her (snicker, snicker) “concussion” and testify would be waterboarding. She’s terrified of Obama. She didn’t do anything wrong on her own, because Hillary, feminist icon, has never done anything on her own but has spent her life protecting powerful men.
But if the legal penalties for covering up for him are going to be too severe, she may weaken and admit what really happened. So my question is what is it that she fears so much from Obama?
Don't forget that Hillary has all the FBI files on every possible threat.

And where are the Ambassador's parents. They got very hot under the collar when CNN recovered his diary weeks after the murders, but have been strangely silent since. Are they so "in the tank" for Obama that they can't defend their dead son?
Ratface Harry has already promised to end the fillibuster on the first day of the new session. Republicans will be completely shut out of the confirmation process. They will be able to do exactly nothing.
Anyone who votes “YES” for that traitorous POS should be immediately drummed out of the Senate and also the USA.
