Ted Kennedy's car should have had a low-capacity gas tank. Maybe 1/4 gallon max.

Why no licenses for speech? And why no limit on high-speed printing presses? Surely the framers never imagined a time when a printing press would be capable of running at thousands of feet per second, printing several million copies per day. Who needs such a device?

It’s such a joke. That psycho could have done the exact same damage with a 38 revolver, a pocket full of speedloaders, and a double barrel shotgun.

It is political suicide to stay on this topic and Dems and Repubs know it. Biden got the job because he’s a moron. If Republicans support any new gun control, they will be out of office. If Southern Democrats support any new gun control, they will be out of office.
This topic is just a distraction for the fiscal mess we are in.
Ex Post Facto laws are forbidden in the Constitution.

Magazine capacity is important in a gun fight where your opponent is also armed. Against innocent children and helpless adults cornered in a gun free school zone, it really doesn’t matter. Almost any weapon produced in the last 150 years would be sufficient to do the deed long before the police show up.
Politicians are using this tragedy to pursue their long standing political agenda to disarm America. Ask them what they are going to do to protect innocent children, they won’t have an answer.

"Lawmakers from both parties voiced their willingness Sunday to pursue some changes to the nation's gun laws,..."
LOL! The author mentioned five in his/her/its bandwagon approach propaganda piece. One is a Republican, and she's a woman.

We need a hyprocite alert for Diane. Look at all of the people that her and her beloved political party has lied to and maligned to be put on welfare and entrap them into a life as some call slavery or an addiction.

Administration Propaganda (AP) - The go to source of Bull Spew for the BSM.
Does everyone see how the Oppressive-Left wants to destroy liberty just rename guns as Assault Weapons and arbitrarily decides the value of high in high capacity?

Next thing you know they’ll be limiting the number and capacity of our armed drones, and the number of US citizens on our kill lists.
We’ll have to get elected if we want more. /s

Kay Baily Hutchinson is the “republicans” siding with the liberals? She’s a lame (and I mean LAME) duck and won’t have the power to vote on the liberal’s anti-self defense law. She is a great one for the leftist ladies in the Senate to trot out.

After much thought and deliberation, I think it's time the NRA compromises with the gun control crowd. Allow all new magazines to come with Surgeon General warning labels similar to cigarettes.
“Warning: The Surgeon General has determined that the contents of this magazine is hazardous to the health of anyone that receives them at high velocity.”
I can live with that compromise.

This is in direct violation of the ADA. How are the disabled going to be able to change magazines or shoot without a handgrip or without semi auto?
Are they going to make guns only usable of people without disability?
To: TurboZamboni
THe pick and choose the features to presume guilty a gun owner is also in clear violation right there.
